The main point of this video is to spoof the people who tried so hard to copy the Angry Video Game Nerd and his style of reviewing. It was something I'd wanted to make for a while, and when I found the game buried in my dad's attic, everything slotted together.

A lot of people don't realise that the PS2 can play any game across any format. It's what I use to play all of my N-Gage games.

I grew up with the Commodore 64 so I instantly recognised the cassette player and floppy disk (graphical limitations are why the central hole and reading window looked like a crucifix). I played this often, as well as the sequel,and saw some fantastic changes over the years from the frankly hellish Mastronic games through to the likes of US Gold and Microprose. Back when games were games lol

Pretty sure that in 1986 most gamers would easily recognize a tape deck and a floppy disk, as they were the computer media of the day :) There are quite a few PlayStation games that depict a CD/DVD in a similarly abstract way as a circular thing with a sort of rainbow pattern across it (like you'd see if you shone a light on the playing surface) and one day soon no-one will know WTF that's supposed to be anymore either :)

Nah, he hasn't lost his way, he's evolved. Being 31, I can barely keep up with work and bills (I work 48 hour shifts and it's draining), and I'm just supporting myself right now. I just don't know how James can juggle a family/children, AVGN and all of his other projects, on top of regular everyday responsibilities. Sure he's not raging in every video, which is good since it prevents staleness, but that's because he's maturing and getting a little creative so he doesn't get bored with the character. Personally, I'd like to see more of the Board James episodes. The Mr. Bucket and Dream Phone episodes were some of the funniest and most creative things he's done, as were some of the latest BJ eps. I'm just glad he still makes content, because he has nothing left to prove, he's pretty much a RU-vid legend that's inspired tons of people and given us so much already, so he could stop making content today and I would be fine with it, but I know he won't because he stands by his fans that stuck by him and he's a humble person that is thankful for his fans, so I know he'll go out of his way to not disappoint them. But over all his family comes 1st, as it should. It's just 1 of those things that happens the older you get, prorities change and the least we can do is respect that, considering all the content he's made for us fans. Sorry for the super long post, but it's just the reality of the situation.
