They appear randomly every other week in paid events. You basically just have to wait for what you want to be released as far as specific insect or ant. Check out my guide on paid events for more info on the cheapest way to go through paid events!

Yup. I recommend to people to just not spend because you'll never keep up with people that spend continuously... The whole game is designed as a loot box and gambling trap to siphon unlimited money away from people.
