I honestly think that this movie, in the right hands, with some major revisions, could make a really entertaining stage musical

The more I watch it, the more I love it.

Do ya get the feeling that when they were making this, the performers thought they were just filming the best thing ever?

Despite how bad this is you have to give it some credit to this fact, the song Alone tells about how America is so addicted to drugs in order to make it through daily life, especially in the music industry, spleen and it's talked in deeper detail in the Phantom of the paradise.

The Apple may be a bit …weird and it’s kinda low rent looking but this movie is a hundred times more creative and memorable than most of the stuff coming out in 2022

I own a DVD of The Apple...while the story isn't the best, the music is fantastic!!!!!

I watched this late at night at a Hallowe'en movie festival a few years ago with a few cans, everyone was in great form shouting bon mots and profanities at the screen, some people fell asleep. Good times 😅

The Apple has been referred to as the Mount Everest of bad movie musicals. Such an apt description. On a side note, Catherine Mary Stewart is gorgeous in this movie.

So is this supposed to be some sort of commentary about the demand to be efficient and fast in the workplace, causing people to depend on drugs to become as efficient as they need to be, causing a loop of dependency that makes people want more and more until they overdose?
