Could mismatched hot dog and bun packages be a tactic to make more money? Or is the real explanation far more innocent? #HotDogs #Packs #Reasons Voiceover By: Emily Brown Read Full Article: www.mashed.com...
I always thought that he two, extra Hotdogs were in the package because of my Beagle, because she would always eat two as soon as they were hot and ready to eat right off the grill. She also loved hamburgers too! Both plain, no bun.
@@justwantedtothumbsup freeze them or put them in the fridge. They do last... warm them up wrapped in foil in the oven, toaster oven, or air fryer. 🤟😉👍
40 is the least common multiple, so 4 10-packs of hot dogs and 4 8-packs of buns (plus a freezer to keep them in) solves the problem. But with the advent of 12-packs of buns, you can reduce the LCM to 20: 2 10-packs of dogs, an 8-pack and a 12-pack of buns. So that cuts the necessary investment in half. Progress!
Also why does Costco see foot long beef hotdogs abut you cannot buy the footlong buns they only provide them on the food court when you order a hot dog 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
I want to know why Costco does sell the buns they use in the food court for the Costco Dogs since they do sell packaged hot dogs. The closest thing I found is sandwich buns.
In 1982 I read the white paper entitled Why do hot dogs come in packs of 10 while buns in 8 or 12 that worked out mathematics for this. I was in the C-MU graduate school of engineering and the paper was a big hit with my friends. The mathematics was beyond us and the paper was long. (I need to find my copy of it - it was definitely a keeper.)
It's just cheap garbage hotdogs that come 10 in a pack. Good ones come 8 to a pack. Unless you Buy a jumbo 2-1/2 or 3 pound pack like I do and freeze some.
Nonsense! for years now hotdogs downsided from a pound to 3/4lb (12oz) now for only 8 dogs including companies like Nathan's, Farmer John, Oscar Meyers, Ball Park and others there's no debate..
It used to disgust me lol. But, I would buy two packs of buns and then either get another pack of hot dogs and eat a couple without a bun, or make pb&j with the Xtra buns. 👍
Yuck all the bread company's Wonder bread. I did like Wonder bread as a child and I vowed not to eat it as an adult. I'm hoping everyone else. Get on board because Wonder bread would be the last . Bread company that I want to deal with. Just yuck.
This is the dumbest thing I have ever seen . . .With phrases like "joined the fight" - what fight? We can put a satellite around mars and hydron colliders to mimic the big bang, but for some reason, since the 1940's, we have not been able to mass produce equivalent packaging for hot dogs and hot dog buns . . .Seems legit.
