I’m an early adopter of Architect Knives. I have the 6.5 in 3V back when they branded it the “Field Buddy”. Also have the AK8 in Magnacut and it’s an absolute lightweight monster. Architect Knives is one the best values on the production side of the knife market bar none.
Yeah, Survive Knives the company that took my money 18 months ago moved from Idaho to Pennsylvania will not respond to Emails and only provides Knives to reviewers to get more suckers to place orders that they will never fulfill.
Yeah i pre ordered a survive knife last month before i saw all the drama. It seems like most of the long waits are either magnacut knives or the GSO 10/12 knives. I got a 3v knife so hoping i won't be waiting that long.
@@johncaban4310 Yeah my dumb ass had three on order. I've resigned myself to the fact I'm not getting my money or knives. The AK 6.5 is as close to a GSO 5.1 as I will get. It's a good knife. More importantly it's available.
Great video, thanks. Love this knife collection of Architect Knives. Musical batoning is possibly a RU-vid first. Great belt and camp knife that is strong enough to be a survival knife. But also a great slicy and comfortable size for camp knife. Survival knives 4 inches plus are better than nothing. But 5 inches or more can definitely be considered long and good for survival knives. Big is better for survival knives to build shelters and to baton for fire prep. Good test of the steel hitting the knife on the metal tree stump. A lesser steel may have chipped real bad. Good color for basic belt knife, but the orange is awesome for your bigger, more dedicated survival knife. 🔪
I'm waiting for them to drop the 5.5 in magnacut. I already have the 6.5 in 3V and love it. It's probably the best all purpose survival life I have used so far. Takes a hell of a beating when batoning.
I knew it was going to be white river knives lol. They really make great stuff Im so glad they finally get love they deserve. I like a said to Aaron at Gideons tactical the ursus and white river is a hidden gem in the knife world
Looks like a great size for general use and hunting. The 6.5 is a bit more of a survival sized knife. If I had the money I think I'd try the whole lineup. Every size they offer interests me. I think Architect knives will be very successful. PS I am pretty impressed with 3V so far. I've used the knife a lot and no signs of dulling at all yet.
Well i just came home from gun and knife show where i sold $1400.00 worth of my knives.😢. still have a pile of knives just put a dent in it. But i dont have 300 anymore. Might have to add this to the pile to stop the bleeding 😊
It looks like the larger knife only has an extra quarter inch of usable blade because of the finger choil. How much difference is there in price? I love those esee pouches. I just put one on my big adventure knife. Without the tin, I fit a leatherman, small flashlight, a large ferro rod, a lighter and a fishing kit!
brother, we share the same taste in knives i see...i am torn between the architect 6.5 and the wolverine...if you could only have one which one are u taking?
Ohhh its that kind of company... shit. I orded a Koster knives Nessmuk. Dan Koster the owner took in orders and never did the knives. So money down the drain. Thief
