Did a RU-vid Channel with 2 Million Subscribers just plagiarise this video? I've made a video on my second channel breaking down the similarities: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bn3d3EABXsc.html&ab_channel=JoeForgets ----- Happy Ari release week! I hope you enjoy the video! Quickly, 3 things: 1. Once again, similar to my previous video, when recording this I was very ill and my voice sounds different. I have tried to make the audio sound as normal as possible, but it is still kind of noticeable. So I do apologise for that. And I am fine now! 2. Please accept this as my personal apology to Arianators for a) mispronouncing R.E.M in this video and b) the slight edits I have had to make to some of the images for this video (IYKYK). Unfortunately, I have to “play it safe”. (I hope this makes sense). Please be aware it is not me attempting to make any sort of statement/comment about the image nor is it due to my own personal views etc. I hope you can forgive me! 3. Just to clarify, in case the video did not make it clear, the person that uploaded the song to Spotify was NOT the person that leaked the song in the first place. P.S. yes, and? is a bop.
Adriana Venti is currently doing time in Gag City, Floptropica Island. She is being released on january 32, 2024. Cupcakke already prepared some remix demos to support the misunderstood singer's future comeback and career, very generous
They listed the music in all caps bc Ariana usually writes (and has been listing her music) in all lowercase. Adriana Venti is the opposite (counterpart??) of Ariana Grande, hence the all caps 🤓
I like what you said about this being the beginning of something. Panic! At The Disco had a large leak of songs over the summer and from what I remember, it was about ten songs. The people who did were never great people (although got told to "not release anymore") and didn't really receive much punishment. It's just an increasing thing that should definitely be more safeguarded about.
I personally think this song can’t be released by Ariana because she just recorded this as a demo for a comedy skit so this definitely is a copyrighted issue Also this song was number 3 in my Spotify wrapped
@@youngspaghettii well yeah but like we honestly don’t know if this comedy skit is still in development so if it is then it would probably be more difficult for her to buy and release it but if this skit is still happening then maybe the studio could release the final version of the song and Ariana‘s demo together 🤷
@chaotic5245 it's just a comedy skit show even the highest grossing options wouldn't outbid her and since so much time has gone by it looks like it was actually scrapped as a slot anyway
No jax didn’t get fined, this was a little inside joke by the grande server that blew out of proportion, however you did a great job covering it, im honestly impressed
What? Are you a first witness that's part of that discord server? Please tell us more lol, was there any legal action or at least some notice from Spotify?
@@ginandromeda1618 i used to own the leaker server at one point lol, there was no legal action, just dumb minors doing a inside joke, they didn’t expect it to blow up… im surprised no one has ever made a youtube video on the grande server itself theres a lot of stories on how songs leaked lol
@@szasnooze Amazing! Maybe you could offer Joe (or any pop and internet culture channel) an interview to tell those stories, wish your comment blew up so more people would see it cause I'm sure you and your friends have so much tea on the server lol. Also, if there wasn't any legal action taken, then why Jax took down the songs from Spotify?
@@ginandromeda1618 the songs were taken down in case there was a serious lawsuit… and theres a LOT of drama and things that went down in the discord itself, ive said im genuinely surprised that no one has talked abt the server itself
It disgusts me that people are actually supporting Adriana Venti in this situation. She committed a crime that she shouldn't have committed; the same goes for everyone who's doing what she did. These people need to open their eyes and see that they have no right to release/redistribute unpublished artistry.
FR! It’s scummy af. Like at least let the artist release the music before you have to find new ways redistribute it. :( If you wanna pirate, fine, but don’t claim it as your own work and again release it around the actual artist who asked you not to. It’s crazy the same people who scream about ai stealing from artists cna be the same who steal the music from the artists :(
on the hallways of my school, i spotted a jiafei sticker hidden between two lockers. Then i found out that the person who put the sticker there was a classmate of mine, and also watched your video on jiafei and was a subscriber! mind you we are both from Turkey in a Turkish school, so this was all a very suprising experience. Just wanted to tell u that :3
As a self proclaimed "veteran swiftie" (read: I'm old) we also leaked (or at least re-shared) lots of Taylor's unreleased songs around Debut - Fearless - Speak Now (all available on 4shared back then, if you know the title, it's probably there), Battle (let's go) from Red, This is What You Came For (demo), All of the Girls (which Taylor eventually released from Lover) and Need (also from Lover), etc But the number of leaks dropped drastically since Red (or maybe I just stop searching for them lol) And since Taylor started making "Taylor's Version", personally I feel like I robbed the excitement of listening to the vault songs for the very first time by already knowing the songs for ages (looking at you We Were Happy) And of course there are some swifties who felt entitled and said something like "Taylor should release .... instead of .... for the vault song"
battle was actually written for speak now! i think from red going forward her security for music tightened A LOT, which is why most leaks are from 2003-2010. and there’s only so many songs she actually recorded during that time, so it’s very possible that the vast majority of material that could’ve been leaked has already been leaked.
Speaking of unreleased music you should definitely do a deep dive into Lana Del Rey’s unreleased and how it all came to be, there’s literally hundreds of them and they are still being leaked now. It’s been going on for years. And there’s several of them that have gone viral on TikTok. Also someone set up a scavenger hunt in a shopping mall for someone to obtain an unreleased song lol
Tbh I think anyone who cares about people listening to leaks are the equivalent of the kids that reminded the teachers about homework. LEAKING the music is bad, hacking artists or stealing their laptops n whatever is a horrible crime however if it’s already out there for free and you’re a music enjoyer then it’s strange to me to not be aware of the unreleased stuff.
@@mementomori8925 Yes, artists usually make songs for the purpose of releasing it, but y'all are literally ignoring the fact that it should and ought to be done IN THEIR OWN ACCORD. Taking someone else's work and posting it online without their clear consent with the mentality of "well they were probably going to release it anyway, let me just do it for them lmao" is not it, that's just straight up theft. You don't get to make other people's decisions for them.
@@sensen3492baby who said anything about me leaking music? Obviously going the distance and actively hacking and releasing stuff that’s been shelved or unreleased is malicious but it’s so unintuitive to act like the people who listen to the tracks are bad lol
The way history is being documented in meticulous detail on this channel. When my children ask me what happened in the 20s and this channel exists as an in depth recounting of the culture iktr 😌💅
this is only one song from Ariana, imagine Lovatics having a full album worth of unreleased music that somehow Demi themself idgafed but most of them are bangers 😭😭
We have 60+ unreleased songs from Demi mainly from TMYLM and the keyboard smash album (DWTD…TAOSO). In my opinion, several of them are bangers and shouldn’t been released instead of the stuff she put out.
you should definitely do a video about kpop stans on jail such as jungwoogifs (nct stan) not tweeting for a few months because they were sent to prison for robbing a market or smth like that😭😭
@@j_0annaNah refusing to join the diaper army and getting arrested bc they live in a military state is entirely different than someone actually committing a crime
that's a popular joke in the kpop community. random accs will go inactive for normal things then claim they committed a crime. it originated from an army - all i remember is it was a namjoon account. it's not worth making a video on
This happened with ITZY as well. For their new album their company prereleased 7 (!!!) out of the 10 songs on it but only on youtube, so one of ITZY's fans decided to release it on Spotify under the name IT7Y amassing around 30k monthly listeners
Regarding STAN: If you go watch the video where the term got its name from, you will find that "music" is not involved. Stans are bordeline stalkers obsessed with the artists, not their music. Just saying.
@@haliee Yes, I know! That's why it's so ridiculous to replace an already extreme term with one even more negative. But on the other hand for a short period of time, many people who expressed how strongly they liked someone called themselves "groupie"... Which makes me think most of them had no idea of what a groupie really was (is?). 🤣
i just saw something today that said someone who released her music was sentenced to it was either 6 months or 5 years in jail. big difference i know but i forgot which one it was. i wonder if that was them?
Okay wait I didn’t even realize till this video that that was an unreleased song 😭 I’m not a local but I haven’t been on tiktok that long and so I’d only heard the song in edits but knew nothing of its history. I literally had never thought “wait a minute when did Ari release this song?” 💀
Omg ya'll found out about this song & her unreleased songs only now? What rock have U lived under lol no offence lol OFC IT'S UNRELEASED EVER WONDER WHY IT WAS NOT ON RADIOS OR IN MEDIA BUT ON YT & TIKTOK CHANNELS? READ THE DESCRIPTIONS AT LEAST lol Hey no offence bro but dang U missed out alot bro just saying tho tbh ngl Omg lol!?~🙄😒😑😐🤨😏😔😤😶😆🤩🤭😉😂😅🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻💀☠
I used to listen to unreleased Ariana Grande tracks uploaded on RU-vid every now and then, but now that I watched this video, I now have gained a new perspective on what artists go through when their tracks are leaked and I’m gonna make sure I stay away from now on to show support to Ari. Stealing unreleased music from others is wrong, and I plan from here on out to avoid any kind of media involving leaked music to show support to who I considered to be one of the greatest artist of all time.
I don't really care for unreleased songs and leaked demos, my only question to them is how in the hell they got that song? like how do you just get a leaked song, who leaks it, what?
This was my question too ! And like how daring do you have to be ? It’s so wrong. As a singer myself there are numerous reasons why a song isn’t released . So many violations here. Ethically, professionally, legally. Ugh.
someone involved in the song production. they could make a copy and send it to someone who then leaks it, leak it themself or sometimes hackers are involved and an accident genuinely happens. it's usually done on purpose by a producer though
This sort of thing happens VERY often with not just pop singers, but also hiphop artists and especially rappers. One example being the rapper Playboi Carti with his songs constantly getting leaked. Several of his unreleased songs became so popular that people didn’t even realize they were leaked. Probably the most well known of his leaked songs was his collab with Young Nudy “Pissy Pamper”, which you probably know as the “they tryna be cray” song that went super viral on TikTok years ago. That song actually was planned to be released, but they couldn’t get the rights to the sample they used for the beat, so it never ended up officially releasing. Despite this, the song got fully leaked around 2019, and it was illegally uploaded to Spotify several times by fake artists. These reuploads got millions of streams, and I’m pretty sure one of them temporarily charted for a few days before getting taken down. It still gets reuploaded on music streaming platforms occasionally
Well as you can clearly see I am a stan. Uploading and profiting off of Ariana's work was CRAZY. I had no idea that even happened. But as a fan, you want to have as much material from your favorite artists as possible. Leaks are just a hazard of the record business. While what happened with her catalog was EXTREME in terms of the volume, I don't see anything wrong with wanting to enjoy unreleased tracks? Every fandom does it. But if she didn't want the music to be spread, that is a valid request to make and should be honored. Good news is that it will die down bc she's back making music, FINALLY. And her team was able to successfully prevent ANY leaks of yes and so it looks like she'll have the full autonomy for this era - AG7.
she used to pretend she didn't see the leaks before 2021. she might even correct the lyrics if we got them wrong. but since 2021, the leaks are massive like 30 demos leaked just 3 days before "yes, and" they also leaked around 45 songs at once last year. i also enjoy the leaks but i can see her getting concerned about the amount of songs being leaked in a short time.
@@niwnoraa yeah, I wish she was more like Taylor - she STAY feeding her fans. But I feel she gets self conscious about that - bc artists in general tend to be perfectionists. And if it's not 1000% perfect, then they don't even want us to know it was even RECORDED, lol.
Please can we get a similar video about Ayesha Erotica's Spotify story? There is a lot to tell, also there is a lot of information about it on ayesha's subreddit. Very interesting and I know a lot would like it
i think the court case was fake. she had to pay the label money AND do community service? did she get sued or arrested? is this civil or criminal? maybe it works differently (and lightning quick as you said) where she lives but i doubt it
"Ariana Venti" sounds like an SNL sketch character parodying Ariana Grande which they did something similar only with boy bands called "7 Degrees Celsius"🤣
I dunno. I don't believe that her only reason for not officially releasing the song is that it was intended for another project. The numbers its still doing are wild, even unofficially. Imagine the numbers it would do if released officially. Since I don't believe Ariana is a bad businesswoman, I'm getting a vibe that she isn't releasing it because she can't. Throwing out a guess here, and I'm thinking sample clearance is probably part of the reason, as the demo is built on loop from "Killing Me Softly" by the Fugees. The last time she had to clear a sample was for "7 Rings," which was so messy and lopsided that she makes virtually nothing from the song despite it being her biggest (she agreed to give up 90% of the royalties from it in exchange for sample clearance). Or the whole leak was fabricated by her PR team.
Something similar happened to Lana del Rey with many songs, someone hacked her computer and leaked many unreleased songs. She begged her fans to not listen to her unreleased but many won't listen
Listen, uploading an artist unreleased song, or sketch, and get a money from it is "INSANE". If you were Ariana, that must be pretty hurt, like it's not supposed to be released but someone release it without her and her team permission... What is up with the world nowday... Respect has lost it meaning. Yk what, no, they deserves to be in jail
smaller artists do get things leaked thats kind of a small minded opinion tbh..... though i get what you mean. britney spears will be fine if i listen to "sippin on"
very true, if she was a small artist i would feel bad but she’s one of the most popular singers currently and a millionaire (plus her numerous controversies like her casually changing skin tone)
This also happened to The Weeknd in December with an "unreleased" remix of Drake's "Trust Issues". (I put quotes on "unreleased" bc the song is on Abel's official RU-vid, but nowhere else).
