Hey there, very good review here. I picked one of these up from Jason Hays and was thinking of building with 1804 xnova or even 2004 like you did. I will be going analog too, but am wondering... what do you think about a 1408 motor? Maybe the taller stator will help protect it some? lol, I should probably put some tpu on this one. Did you still manager to stay under 250g with those 2004s?
Nice I think I saw him selling that frame lol. I ended up at 243g dry, no GoPro and no lipo but with full 3d prints. I think the 1408 might be a better option, you might end up with less power but it will be more efficient and more protected. Also if your worried about weight I’d go with a higher kv motor and go 4s rather than 6s to save weight on batteries. Thanks man!
The 1804 might be a good sweet spot for saving weight and still having plenty of power. Plus it won’t be as wide so might be less vulnerable in a crash
