10:30 actually the spartans’ mjolnir armor does make use of a neural interface. The book Fall of Reach goes into some detail, and I believe that when the chief first wore it, he described it as being so comfortable he would barely know he was encased in it if he closed his eyes.
yes it does, but, they cannot 'feel' the armor the same way as a marine can. the term 'Second Skin' isnt just words, it IS a second skin, they can feel the pain and touch from the armor. A spartans MJOLNIR Armour cannot do that, it does however not hinder movement and they bearly feel the armour due to the gele layer. Which acts as a insulator, shock absorber and if needed, a 'brace' if something gets damaged or broken. (Basically solidify the area around the damage.)
Actually what is being put on him at first is not the Black Carapace. That would be the Fibromuscular Layer of the Armor which is the actual “Power” of the power armor and is all basically a synthetic muscle suit. The Black Carapace is actually a Sub Dermal or under the skin but over the muscle implant and that is what those ports and interfaces are on his skin which attaches to the Fibromuscular Layer and allows him to control it with the same signals sent through his nerves to move his body. And also the Black Carapace actually looks sort of like a think Flack Jacket with tendrils coming off of it which snake down the limbs, although those grow longer after being implanted until the point where they are mature. Once they are mature incisions are made in the Marines Skin to then attach the ports and interfaces which will then later be used to interact with and command the Armor.
Based on the style of the helmet I'd say that is a Primaris Ultramarine. Most "Firstborn" SPace Marines have the helmet with a gasmask/Vader styled muzzle
That's a lie many old first born have that helmet before is only that many legions use modify helmets to represent they're own legion, example the uni eye with the weird mouth of the iron warriors
The Raptor's version had more of a technological/automated side feeling to it and indicative of a chapter that has retained its technology well. The raptor animation feels closer other sci-fi series. This animation on the other hand, is more representative of the wider of the imperium with the very manual hauling, less technology, less science, less automation, more religion, more ignorance, more slave labor, and more lobotomized flying children. This makes it more uniquely imperium and more distant from other sci-fi universes. I personally like this animation more because it represents the wider imperium as a whole but that is just my opinion. Although this still does not excuse GW's attitude towards fan animation in my eyes though.
@@ARandomCustodian And this is all being done for a Ultramarine Primaris under a very alive Guiliman. You'd think he'd make sure to keep the new stock more detached from the Imperial Faith than the regular Ultramarines were already. I hear you, and I agree. But why couldn't this have been a Templar or maybe a Blood Angel?
@@aguyunderabridge.8794 >> But why couldn't this have been a Templar or maybe a Blood Angel? BECAUSE Ultramarines is THE poster boys, it's like a white car in car advertisement - it's standard.
It is the Symbol of the Indomitus Crusade. As i could recall, this Symbol represents the Space Marine as an Veteran of said Crusade, a Campaign Badge, you would say.
Silver Studs = 50 years. Golden Studs = 100 years. Think they start replace with golden ones after a certain amount of years, no idea when. So hes been in chapter for 100+ years.
Those shoulder guards seem like they can't raise their elbows above the horizontal. How do they reach things on the top shelf? Can they dance the YMCA ?
