Kids like Sidharth would probably never know the emotional or mental damage they are doing to not so previleged kids. I was also a victim of it. I was in a school which was surrounded by previleged people and they used to look down on me, avoided me, bullied me as if I did some crime. I'm a 2021 school pass out. We went to an English tuition where almost 40-50 students will attend the class. As the teacher enters for the next 2hrs no one will speak a single word unless asked to. When the teacher starts to ask questions everyone will just drop their gaze expecting that the next one to be questioned is not them. Forget about raising the voice infront of the teacher 😂 During the class sometimes the teacher would tell us the funniest of stories. But the moment the joke ends you have to back to studies again. The teacher was in absolute control of the class.

I have been in two schools. One in a small town in UP and then 11th 12th from a convent school in Delhi. In both my schools, this Sid guy would be shown what's what. Also, I come from a privileged background. Had I said things like this, my father would've thrown me out of the house. Also, I am 100% sure that his dad is 'barely rich' types. Not generational wealth. So whatever little money he has earned, he is showering on his useless son and now barely able to keep his head above the water trying to live a lifestyle which they can't afford. People with real wealth and generational wealth never talk like this. Wealth makes them humble.

It is because of kids like Siddharth that everybody thinks that rich kids are mannerless but that is not always true. My father came from a low middle-class family with 6 siblings. He focused on his education, worked very hard & today we are an Upper middleclass family leading a very comfortable life. He would have killed me if i spoke like Siddhart. He always taught me the value of money, he told me about his days of struggle & taught me to be grateful to God for everything we have. My mother too ensured i had good values.

In 2020 when online classes started for the first time. One of our friends tried to make a very lite joke in a tuition class' WhatsApp group. The tutor removed him immediately. 😂 No warning, no scolding, he was just kicked out immediately. 😂😂😂 Teachers used to scrold us in online classes just like offline classes. You can't dare to mess with them.

Bring back schools like gurukul. Where everyone is taught at least the basic decency in life, not to mention the beautiful culture ofour nation. This type of arrogance does not only stem from home but also the school. Even the principals cater to these rich freaks to recieve more donations. As a student from a private school, I can proudly say that my school did not contribute to my humanity in the slightest, just my academics. I got even worse in my mentality while I was there. The culture is just that horrible. It reinstates the importance of social status without saying. I won't let my kids go through that. Boycott these private english schools. Get back to your roots.
