Abject Permanence Why did you think it ended? There was literally no indication that the show was ending. The brief appearance from the Monitor should have been enough to show that Legends is coming back.
Hey remember that time Nora kept the secret that she could go back 2 the future for most of the season oh wait or how she should tell her father shes been hanging out with his greatest enemy who was also responsible for her grandmother's death
@@darthbullymaguire2072 yeah sure, so many people hate it that Endgame became the highest grossing film of all time. With Captain Marvel, Black Panther and all of the other Avengers films not far behind. You're clearly just hating on the thing people actually like because you're butthurt that everyone else has grown out of the painfully shitty Arrowverse.
IZack Production same, but even then it sucks now after season 3, I hated the show and gave up watching it. I loved season 1 and 2 but season 3 was meh, beebo saved the show for me, but after it was shit. And this is the show that got me to watching arrow and flash
*Crossover announcement: Me: "Nope." *Brandon Routh as Kingdom Come Superman: Me: "😮...must resist!!" *Kevin Conroy as an older Bruce Wayne: Me: "😱😵...NOPE...CAN'T...DO THIS...!!" *Linda Carter Rumoured to join Parents: "WE'RE GOING IN!!" Me: "😬...MUST RESIST!!!" *Tom Welling returns to be Clark Kent: Me: ... ... ... 👁️ 👁️ 👄
Asian Nick Compton I’m so happy Watchmen turned out well- I was worried before episode 1 that it would never live up to the original comic, but I was reassured in the very first episode that this wasn’t the case.
@@AnarkyV2 Watchmen was only set for one season, Legion was only set for 3, Doom Patrol and the Boys have their second seasons coming out this year. Tf are you talking about
Me when he was Arrow: okay, quite funny, I bet he'll be Flash. Me when he was Flash: I like that, but I know he won't go further. Me when he was Supergirl: The peak of humanity has been achieved. Me when he was Tom Welling: God is real.
Exactly, it was a practice run. Even the monitor told him to go bigger, as he had given this man the book for his own reasons. Now, if you're going to ask why the writers had him do this, that's a separate question.
Tuvya Maeir that is not a separate question. That is part of the main concern. Giving someone that much power should have been a delicate balance. Who is the bigger idiot, the 13 year old who crashes the car or the father that hands him the keys?
I don't know what the general consensus is on the motivations, but, the way I understood, the Monitor was handing out the book on different universes to the people who could cause the most harm, so that the biggest heroes would rise up
Cunning Smile I just thought season four and five was not that good but seasons One two three was my favorite out of the arrow verse but these are just my opinions
Yep I loved the scientist, cause I'm a nerd and i basically know who Barry Allen is. But remember it was before the first season of the flash, before he gain his powers, so he was just a dude, a lot of people may not have recognized him and just forgot about the episode.
He's coming back as the Harrison Wells from Earth 18573. He's still the same character, but this time he has *x* quirky personality trait. Yay, we get to kill him off and bring back some new quirky version of the character next season.
I didn't star any season yet (not countig supergirl. Dunno if i survived even to the end of s2), cuz 1: kinda afraid it'll suck, and 2: don't want to wait all that time for new episodes... but man... didn't know that Tom Weilling is coming back... goodbye real world ;-;
@@Dhruv-qw7jf Sorry, I meant that I didn't start any of newest seasons yet. Only checked if legends are out already only to get dissapointed ;p Speaking of supergirl, I had very mixed feelings. I didn't mind a bit girlier approach (duh, woman protagonist will act as one xd) and actually I enjoyed that fresh take, but then it just became datey dramma. And I watched it mostly for that newspaper ceo (or sth, pardon me I forgot quite a bit already, especially names ;p) and Kerah's sister. First one left and latter from being badassy boss super agent became totally unable to make any decision crybaby. Like, I understand that people are more than one emotion etc. but that's totally diffrent character to me. Aand yeah, I enjoyed last Arrows and Flashes, few things turend not how I'd prefer them to, but generally huge thumbs up!
All of Daredevil seasons were solid. Jessica Jones is good but an acquired taste. Luke Cage is alright. Iron Fist season 1 sucks, which made Defenders suck, but Iron Fist season 2 is better. Punisher is King but mostly because he acts like Wolverine, the number one marvel icon.
I think Punisher was the best because it was such a good representation of the comic book character. He got it spot on. He made the character his own and just made you believe he actually was this character
@@accidentalmadness1708 Then (not to overstep my brief) you *really* ought to change that RU-vid-handle. (After all, Iris's line was DELIBERATE--- thus, your madness is *no longer* "accidental". {Q.E.D.}) 😉
@@pufferplayz8030 I agree, they gave her a plot thread of her own and she's mainly been involved when she's pulled in by necessity. Not by contrivance.
I don’t give a shit what anyone in these comments says, the CW DC shows are fun to watch even if they’re not the best So sorry for being hyped for Crisis, didnt know i wasnt allowed to be
It's not as fun as it used to be.......I watched flash S3,s4,s5 every week for the past 3 years....The show got more predictable as time went on.....The extras can't act for shit and sitting through the inconsistency (ie time travel) is excruciatingly painful....Why watch the arrow verse when you got the boys, doom patrol, watchmen, and now animated harley Quinn which is so not formulaic like those shows......
I second that, TBH the only reason why the first season was so janky was because of the Hydra twist from Winter Soldier.

It’s gotten so good, they’re putting the characters into their app game STRIKE Force. They our Agent Coulson in last month and he’s hella powerful. They’re putting Yo-Yo in this month. Proud of the actors.
thelinedrive I know you’re not joking, but it sure seems like it. I think this is one of the only shows I’ve watched where characters are hyper consistent and the show has next to 0 plot holes. I’ve never seen such amazing character development anywhere else. Do you have specific examples?
Fans: When will flash from earth 9- Cw: Well crisis... Fans: Will arrow from earth 2- Cw: Died in crisis... Fans: SUPE- Cw: THIS IS OUR BACKDOOR SO LETS JUST- Fans: use crisis? Cw: yas
lambusado they’re gonna try an all female led show with Kat as the new green arrow in the future. I’m excited for that even though it’ll only last one season
It was stated very clearly what he wanted. They literally had kara and monitor say what he wanted just for people like you who dont pay attention then complain when you dont understand something
@@captainsprinkles6557 this is complaining that it wasn't clear what the anti monitor wanted. But firstly, he's not really that deep of a character to begin with. Secondly, we do know exactly what he wanted. Kara and the monitor specifically say what he wants. Frost asks what does this guy want and he tells them. And kara even goes on to say "just like every other megalomaniac" that's why. Anti-Monitor is evil. He's like the Green Goblin. There's not really a deep reason for why he's doing this.
In all fairness to elseworld, it has gone on record that it was more of a “recovery” event after earth-X, the writers were so burnt out after they almost ended the cross-overs entirely Edit: undershot it, it was the production crew/staff as a whole that got burnt out.
Whyte Chocolate my mistake on that one, I undershot it since it wasn’t just the writers that got burnt up but everyone according to Mark Guggenheim. The big production took its toll on the staff
I don’t know how much of this is your real and true feelings and while I will say that I agree about past seasons but I will say that Arrow and Flash have both killed it so far this season I know it’s Arrow’s final one so that makes sense but Flash got a new show runner and I think the show has really turned around 😊☺️
I was agreeing with everything in this video (I still watch Flash and Arrow even though everything you say about it is true) but then you ended it with Smallville being what brings you in? Smallville was the original comic show that should have been great but fell into trope after trope and never reached a third of its potential. I couldn't even hate watch that show by the 4th season. And I get that its loved and many people will disagree with me, I just find it odd that someone who is so like minded about the Arrowverse sees Smallville so differently
Sorrry dude it just set the standard were to biased and frankly every season of smallvile for me was awesome I actually never bored or tired in any episode ... I feel bored now watching the arrowverse which is unfair to compare the two but idk that’s just me and like u said U don’t have to agree with me and some may understand others may not but we all got our opinions and preferences u know
After the mention of Stephen Amell's abs, I thought the idea was that he watched because Tom Welling is hot, rather than it being anything to do with the quality of Smallville.
I agree with this, I never really understood the hype about Smallville's later seasons. I think it was a novel idea and casting was awesome, but it never lived up to its potential.
@@anthonykerr3509 couldn't agree more with you, as someone who has had a very personal love of the flash since "negative" seeing the show take all of these beloved characters and themes and either underuse or misuse them in frustrating ways breaks my faith in the writers just that little bit more every week
I hate the fact they completely changed Barry Allen as a character on the show, hell even his supporting cast is not really them, god that show is a mess.
To be fair with this video, thats how I felt about Flash season 5. But Season 6 has been pretty good so far, not perfect but I at least enjoy watching it.
@@Nuigi12Agreed. Props to them for deciding to do multiple story arcs and villains instead of stretching out a baddie the whole season until they lose their potency.
Listen, there's only like 20 seasons of TV to watch altogether between all the shows. Yeah, each season is 20+ episodes and each episode is an hour with ads, but that's only like 400 hours altogether. It would only take you 10 weeks to watch it all if you quit a full time job and devoted those 40 hours a week to watching superheroes instead. Jesus.
@@AbjectPermanence Come on, usual shows seasons are like 22 episodes each, and LoT are 16 per year, also you can count one season of constantine, and supergirl is not really needed, because she is on another earth. So its 12 seasons of arrow+flash, +4 seasons of lot, + 4 seasons of supergirl constantine and half a season of batwoman and 2 other shows. It makes only 452 episodes, which is 452 hours only if you watch it on TV, actually this is merely 300 hours.
It's funny the DC legends of tomorrow also passed on cross overs (Technically) Also I notice those signatures on that Smallville poster. Did you get Allison Mack before she joined a cult?
Spider Paste Things take getting used to. You’ll get used to The Flash being good after awhile. *Note that this a joke. I understand that you didn’t actually like the new season and that is fine
The Arrow-verse died for me. They dragged it on too long and the quality of each season became very inconsistent. Also they keep changing characters for political agendas.
Isnt kind of ironic that crisis turned out to be a really good crossover, (for the most part. Part 5 is a bit unrefined) my favorite part was ezra Miller showing up. That was really cool to see
JustNobody ik right? It was going to be the dream! A live action Kevin Conroy Batman?!? Freaking awesome!! But then they turned him into a psychotic alienphobic asshat just to prove that Batwoman is stronger than Batman, why?
@@kinghobothe4th837 I honestly don't mind Batman killing Superman since that was a Batman who fell from his code. But I honestly thought we would have gotten Kevin longer and as an actual paragon like Kingdom Come Superman that how they fucking killed him off just to make Batwoman the paragon of courage. Was really hoping to see seven multiverse heroes as the paragons. Instead they just happen to come from the arrowverse.
@@kinghobothe4th837 Please, I wish she was a mary sue, then I could say she was cool if I don't think about. Batwoman is just bad, it just screams "I'm a woman, and I can do no wrong"
Dude arrow is just Bomb this season!!!! Like the fan service is huge, writers are amazing, the acting is S grade. That show is just...... gonna be over.
I thought people liked the arrowverse? Sure they have had some dodgy moments but overall it's just fun enjoyable tv? With some epic moments every so often what's wrong with that?
Kevin conroy, huh. They really did him dirty by making him a bad guy, ish. Also Tom Welling had 1 scene, and sure he was awesome, it really didn't matter and was just blatant fan service.
My chanting is ROBERT WHUL! ROBERT WHUL! ROBERT WHIL! ROBERT WHUL! ROBERT WHUL! ROBERT WHUL! Because I always loved knox and he is a very underrated character.
Just started watching Smallville and I can agree with the Tom Welling bit Edit: ive been watching for two weeks and Im on season 3. Easily my fav show. Love Michael and Tom'a chemistry and writing
I watched it every night that it aired from episode 1- the finale. I've watched it countless times since and let me tell you, it puts the DC shows now a days to shame.
Havent cared (like really truly cared) about arrow since adrain was locked up. Fell off of legends and was never really into flash snd am barely hanging on to supergirl. Only reason i am watching crisis is because it is the last (in my eyes) one.
"It's a chance to see your favorite superheroes come to life" is simply not a valid argument when they warp and stale the character beyond recognition, take the mcu for example
Yes, but they keep it fresh by allowing each director to put his own touch on each movie. It may be the same thing, but each movie looks and feels different.
Arrow had 2 bad season but is mostly good. Legends is so god damn funny iafter the stopped taking it to serious. Flash and supergirl are ok.. And we don't talk about batwoman
