Johnny is a Vietnamese-American actor, action choreographer, martial artist and stuntman who is mainly known for appearing in The Protector with Tony Jaa and starring in the Vietnamese action films The Rebel in 2007 and The Clash in 2009.

Johnny Tri Nguyen basically retired. Homeboy got into a motorcycle accident and he just never be the same anymore.He is more into meditation now. But his love for action and stunt is still there

One of the best 'The Art of Action' episodes, I never knew Johnny did so many other things behind the screen. Amazing!. I reckon that Scott and Johnny should make a movie about a Vietnamese person growing up in the UK or USA. Either as friends growing up together fending off discrimination and bullies. Whereby Scott can begin your directorial debut and Johnny can work his editing and visual effects magic. Dau

Netflix needs a show where Scott goes around the world and checks out up and coming stuntmen and little-known martial artists who should be working in the film industry...he knows a lot of the history and the business in general....and throw them into a couple of his future films while your at it....can I get a lil credit for the idea tho???

He's like a multitalented martial arts wizard from the future with the most disarming dorky laugh. The common theme of this show seems to be that the most capable and crafty and dedicated people are also the most humble. I saw this guy first time in the The Protector Movie year 2005 and only that movie was enough for me to recognize how good he is. Even though he isn't well known, He has incredible aesthetic looking kicks and I think he is absolutely one of the best kickers in the world.

If I had a chance to fight Jet or Sammo onscreen, I'd be bragging about it all the time. And Johnny doesn't even remember the titles, like it's just another job. Looks like a humble guy, always laughing and not thinking much about himself. "Oh, it's nothing, it's easy". Very great chemistry between the two

Johnny has the craziest control and accuracy in some of the most insane kicks! I would love for Scott to take up the same style of choreography and mix very gritty hard hitting dirty fights with crazy kicks! I miss Scott using some of his best kicks lately. This is must watch Art of action episode!! I'm really glad Scott sir doing fantastic work by bringing these martial artist & actors on his show, these all guys are really talented & hardworking but unfortunately some of them are also very underrated!! With show like this we will know more abt their work ethic & talent!!!

Thật tiếc vì mình quá kém tiếng anh. Dù không thể hiểu được nhiều cuộc trò chuyện này, nhưng tôi vẫn rất hứng thú khi xem video này. Tôi rất thích Jonny Trí Nguyễn và cả Boyka nữa. Chúc 2 anh thật nhiều sức khỏe, và cống hiến thêm cho giải trí nhé.
