Hey Natan, I have a question (if that's okay, of course). On the way from my house to the rink were I usually practice there is an underground pathway, to go through that pathway there is a pretty steep incline which is also narrow (~2m wide and 10-15% incline). I can't really slow down fast enough to go through that pathway using a T-Stop ( I tried!) but it is also not wide enough for the other stops that I currently know (Poweslide and Plow stop). Is there any stop that would work on that situation? Thank you for the great content, it has been very helpful on my inline journey!

You are always welcome to ask , the best method in this case is the Soul Slide . Than trying the magic . Keep me posted ,how it goes .

Great tip 👍🏻 I like these short videos that are tutorials in parts, makes it easier, plenty of time to get one part down right, before moving on to the next one, it's the best way to learn stuff. Much better than getting a lot of info in a longer video and forgetting half of it when you're out skating.

I'm really thankful to you for making me realize sliding starts with carving, plus sharing very valuable tips which made my carving better, which finally led me to do the soul slide, but by only watching the video I don't really comprehend how this can help. If I have a good downhill to practice carving, is it still worth it doing this exercise or would it be better to practice carving in the downhill and this exercise is for those who don't have a downhill nearby?! Thank you!

Awesome drill! I will be practicing it today! I tend to start carving right at the top of the hill and do a pretty good job. The issue with the hills around my house is that half way down the pavement gets very cracked and rough so I stop carving since it is very scary to carve on rough terrain. That's when my speed control goes out the window!
