James, or Jim Flora was an American commercial illustrator. He is widely known for his jazz and classical album cover art between the 1940s and 50s, but had a long and varied career. His illustrative work appears playful, childlike and energetic with a sense of nostalgia. In this short video analysis, we will look at the album cover “Mambo For Cats” from 1955.
