I have been seeing a few folks use this technique with steel dies that have figures and patterns in them. Not sure what they are doing, I guess squishing the hot glass into the die and pulling it out using the mandrel. Very cool technique.

I wish i could do these like this, so amazing. I'd lose an eye though. I'm just gonna be honest with ya, lol. I could be taking all the safety precautions available, and it wouldn't save me. That's why I'm not allowed near knives! 😆 I'm allowed near knives, lol I'm just really accident prone.

Really liked your video except I think it would be easier for people to see exactly what you are doing if you had a didymium screen in front of your camera & perhaps have your camera in a slightly different angle maybe overhead??

Thank you for your comments. I understand there is a didymium clip that you can now purchase for a cell phone. I will work on this for the next time.
