Documental donde muestran como hacía Lotte Reiniger sus peliculas con siluetas de cartulina negra. La pelicula que pone de ejemplo es "Papageno". Esta en ingles
The beginning bit was my WOW bit. The way she used a pair of scissors! The figure was hardly drawn, and she cut the main characters elegant profile out in 40 seconds! What a peculiar talent.
5:45 "This is the plate table. If you don't have such a thing at home, you take your best dining table, cut a hole into it ..." LOVE it! Never heard of or seen her before today. Thanks, Google Doodle!
Gracias Lotte
This is aDORable! I never seen this before, and this is the first time I'm hearing of Lotte Reiniger.Happy Birthday, Lotte !!You made Adorable cartoons!
Wonderful glimpse of Lotte at the Abbey Arts Centre, Park Road, New Barnet, where she had her studio and spent most of the last years of her life from the 1960s to 1980.
Oh yes, do you have part two? I'm trying to figure out how to do this animation technique. This video has been tremendously helpful. Thank you for posting it!
+OZZTEROV Yes, true, but not everyone has that ability, which, in my estimation, speaks to the power of God. Also, what if her abilities had by some tragedy or malfunction been taken or inhibited? It just shows we have limitations. I believe it is the Lord who gives gifts. Blessings to you? ~John 3:16~
Where are the links to the other parts, of the documentary? We would all like to see this, in it's entirety! It is quite unsatisfactory, to only be given this partially. Please provide either the other parts, or(which would be best) provide this in one piece.
marnieee did you ever figure this out. Im trying to build a puppet but i dont know if regular pins will work. I wonder if those hindges were hand tied by her
Its quite incredible that Google in only one day can revive a person long lost, I don't think they realized they just opened a whole new world for us all!!! Thank you @Google. I knew Disney ain't shit! :)
