Jeff Garcia and a woman who I assumed was his wife came in. They had three dogs with them. I’ve been a 49ers fan since 1995 but I wasn’t a diehard football fan like I am now. I knew only two things- who Jeff Garcia was and that the Niners played the day before and won. As I was cleaning the tables, I went up to Jeff and casually told him “hey, nice job yesterday. You killed it!” He looked back, smiled, and said thanks. After my shift was over, I told my friends all about it. I was so excited! They were so excited! Then out of nowhere, one of them says, “Wait, hang on… I thought he wasn’t playing yesterday cuz of an injury… some guy named Tim Rattay played instead…”
