Hey Zealand, here's a little tip: whenever you want to offer a contract to a player, put the entire budget on the transfer money and not the contracts, that's going to decrease the amount of money that they demand when you aproach them for a new contract! I saw that you had like 2 millions in the wage budget and that may have caused the players to ask too much money

Another oopsie in the FM24 "rEaLiSm" book - this should have already been fixed seasons ago. No way that one of the 10 biggest clubs in Africa is going to take in 68 trialists at once. Should work at lower levels (amateur/2nd division), but in the top flight your board should just block any trials, if that doesn't happen, players should outright refuse to go on trial to your team, or the press should be calling you out for being a trial farmer. Which should impact how much players want to go on trial to your team, knowing they most certainly will not be signed. And after all that, if you still continued to trial players, your team cohesion and backroom support should go down drastically. No one runs a top flight football club like this IRL and it shouldn't be happening on FM24. Also, the wages 🤣14:23 this random Belarusian guy asking for 500k p/a, that's 41k p/m. Almost 10 times as much than the average player in Portugal's top flight makes, Portugal being the 6th strongest league in Europe and this being South Africa

My only problem with trial farming is that often I don't have a problem getting a player to agree to a trial, it's when I offer a contract - they suddenly also get contracts magically offered by bigger clubs immediately afterwards & end up going there. It's annoying that the bigger clubs aren't willing to take a look by taking the player on trial, but are suddenly falling over themselves to sign him the minute there's some interest from me.

Sorry it's unrelated but I haven't found a solution. Why is my transfer budget in red . I have 419, 884, 217 . Which is impossible because I'm a Northern Premier Division semi pro club and last I checked we had a overall balance of 5547 . All the players are signed for free. And I checked my highest earner is 300 p/a . What's happening? I also don't have the editor , how do I solve this?

I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of some of the players you are getting in the South African leagues. Some of the player recommendations you are getting here Zealand are better than the players I am being recommended in my Spennymoor Town save in the English Championship. Reputation increases so slowly in this years game and it's painful.
