right? i can't stand the modern/minimalistic design for houses. it's supposed to be a home, a place where you feel comfortable, and i don't think you can achieve that in an all white house with barely any design or personality. but to each their own, i suppose

Me either!!! I don’t care how tasteful and unique it is supposed to be..if it doesn’t feel like a comfortable, restful home...then it’s not for me, I think your home should tell your story..The pictures on the wall and the little gifts your children made for you...a cozy overstuffed chair...your home should be your haven.

Well, I've now binge watched all the episodes; this is by far my favorite. It isn't as remarkable architecturally as other's - but she says it herself, "I feel as though I belong here." That is what home is for, isn't it?! This home was simply meant for her life - not for show, not to entertain, not to accommodate anything or anyone else - it's hers. I think she gets it better than anyone else here.

Literally the best home and lay out I have ever seen…. Why in the world people want massive acreage and 8000 square-foot homes is beyond me. This has so much personality and warmth and coziness.

I’m glad the judges liked it as well as I did. I guess it wouldn’t have filmed as well, but I can just visualize how warm and cozy it would be on a gray, stormy day.

I watched sooo many episodes but this here is 100% me. I love it and love to live in that place, it is tiny, cosy, lovely and so warm hearted. All other episodes the houses, cottages or castles are huge and big, that is not the way that I would live. But this house I absolutley would call a home. Lovely to 100% ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

A ten indeed! Reminded me of some of my own decorating, lots of blue and white with touches of color. Recognized my blue and white spotted pillow cases from Ikea. Am also a professional artist who works from home! Love the cozy comfort of all the rooms, great places to snuggle into during the harsh weather and storms of Scotland. Also, grow lavender in my garden as well. Great job, could relate thank you~

A very lovely home, tastefully decorated just short of clutter. Cleaning (especially all those items hanging over the kitchen stove) must be a labor of love. We didn't see it all, only one bedroom and no baths, so the layout is still a mystery.

Inspired!!!! "Light, airy and fun" is my new mantra. God answered my prayer with this video. I love cottages, chickens and am an artist and home remodeler. I already am picking out paint, planning accent boards, and a small bantam chicken henhouse --- Transforming my townhome on a golf course into a magical cottage where I can live the life I love!
