Hope your daughter recovers quickly. The soup looks like a delicious meal that’s easy on the stomach. I look forward to your videos and you’ve given me some great tips for recipes.
Arroz Caldo, Filipino Penecilin, lugaw, rice porridge Add some chicken or some light pepper and it's our version of chicken soup. It's the best thing to have when you're feeling sick and don't have an appetite.
I make something similar with the addition of pork spare ribs (cut into pieces) and sprinkle fish sauce and chili oil over top. Garnish with scallions and cilantro. It’s so yum and great for those cold days. Found it on RU-vid!!
I can't have chicken or poultry in general, but I too add turmeric. No ginger. I've given it to my adult son & he's gone back to work the next day. ❤ I've made it w/ ramen, just to have him drink the broth mostly, & it's worked equally well. I'm disabled so can't always stay on my feet for long. Stay well! ❤
The Greeks have a soup a rice soup with bone broth that is similar. This soup has a creamy texture and add vitamin C and extra protein . Blend together 2 or 3 eggs and (1 or 2) lemon juice together, then temper, the egg and lemon mixture with the broth and rice soup constantly mixing so you don’t have eggs in your soup. You can add more lemon to taste. You can even zest lemon first and add eggs and lemon juice in the blender it in the (tempering the egg and juice mixture) broth and rice soup. You can also add chicken to the finish soup.🫶🏻
Suggestion: I have mixed Dawn hand wash (green color) antimicrobial with Sukin Australian *Natural Signature Botanical Body Wash (all skin types) use to shower 🚿 Trader Joe's has Eucalyptus to hang over the showerhead. Or * Have her take a warm soaking bath with Better You Mineral Bath Flakes (Magnesium) if she says no to a soak, make a foot bath. She'll sleep well. *I simmer the ginger squeeze out the juice and add to sparkling water. Add Monkfruit sugar simple syrup or Agave syrup squeeze in lemon juice. Yummy. Hope she feels better soon. My grandmother gave me her copy of Back to Eden by Jethro Kloss. Excellent book.
Your kid or kids are great eaters! My son and I are also great eaters who love variety of ingredients. I really feel bad for my friend's kids who eat nothing but chicken nuggets.
Me too! When my kiddo was 12, she tried Laotian food for the first time. She took a bite, laid down her fork, turned to us and said: I’m so glad you guys are the type of parents who don’t make me eat McDonald’s!! lol disclaimer: it’s not that we haven’t gone to McDonald’s, it’s just very rare!
Me too! My children tried everything. Went on a cruise when they were 12 and 13. If there was something on the menu they didn't know they would try it. Their friends only ate nuggets, pizza or a burger.
I made broken noodle soup yesterday and have leftovers. Now as amazing as it was I want this instead. I absolutely modify your recipes to suit my taste (sensory challenges) and nutritional needs, but they have all been amazing. I really love how easily modified your recipes are if you don't have an ingredient or something.
I saw your recipe for rigs&broccoli this am....I made it and it is absolutely delicious...it's like the food I used to make before I got all fussy...I'm going back to simple❤
