The Rock Hall is a popularity contest that has nothing to do with musical contributions. The hall has allowed non-rock acts and blocked major artists for years.
I see Jules Alexander on acoustic guitar, Jim Yester on electric guitar, Jordan Cole on keyboards, Del Ramos on bass guitar and Bruce Pictor (I think) on drums. Who’s the tall guy, dressed in black and also playing guitar? And, I didn’t know that The Association played recently in Long Branch. I would have been there if I had known they were performing in New Jersey.
only two of the originals and only Jim Yester ever sang a lead on one of their hits. Personally I would rather listen to a record or watch an old youtube video than go to something like this, but that's me
Time to see the original Association ran out 40 years ago. They were a great band in the 1960s and still a great band in the early '80s. But this group is pretty close to being an Association cover band. But one can always pretend.
@@artosullivan4509 a cover band with 2 original members? Your joking right? A lot of fans in the audience weren’t around during the 60s maybe your saying the music should die out insyead
No, I said it's "pretty close to being an Association cover band." Two thirds of a cover band. I miss the other five original voices, and they are irreplaceable.
