My mother, born in 1926 was a child of Mary , I learnt from. reading my mother's very old Mass booklet that we bow our heads during the Creed at 'born of the Virgin Mary' , thus giving honor to Mary at that moment of the birth of Jesus. I still do it with faith and love, it is a beautiful part of my faith🙏❤️
@helenbond8893 Our lord last words on the cross said to Saint john behold your mother. And saint John took her for his own. Mary herself said that all generations shall call her blessed. We worship God, we don't worship humans. Our religion is apostolic not from the invention of humans. Our lady of Quadelupe in Mexico is miraculous. Ask God to lead you to the truth.
@@bweatherman3345 None of that changes the fact that we can and should pray directly to God. Mary is not part of the God head / Trinity, the statement that 'All prayer intercession goes to Jesus through Mary' is incredibly inacurate. Such a statment displays a serious lack of understanding of Catholic Theology and the Scriptures, and as a Catholic Sister, I am seriously concerned, but as someone who works in a Catholic Academic setting, teaching and working with young Seminarians, such a comment points to the great need for Catholics to study and learn Theology at a much higher academic level than they currently do
@@helenbond8893 Being a Catholic sister and someone who works in an academic setting, surely you know that prayer means to ask, and we pray to Jesus, and we also pray to saints, of whom Mary is first and foremost, right? Your theology seems to borrow from Reformation-era error. We worship God alone, and one of the ways we can do that is through personal prayer, though prayer itself is not worship exclusively, but can be honor. Further as an academic working with seminarians, you are aware of the definite and clear differences between latria, hyperdulia, and dulia, right? Hopefully your seminarians are learning that as well, rather than statements such as "we can and should pray directly to God" as if intercessory prayer isn't valid though present in Scripture. Also the statement that "Mary is not part of the God head / Trinity" is a strawman that no one advanced, so really there's no point to contradict it. Finally, saying that "we can talk to Mary but we pray to Jesus" would indicate that it's ok to talk as a friend but for "real prayer" we should be turning to God Alone. This is antithetical to Catholic doctrine regarding the communion and intercession of saints. It is serious heresy. In short, prayer means to ask. We may ask God directly, we may ask she who knows Him best and to whom He refuses nothing to ask for us, we may ask our friends the saints to ask for us, and we may ask fellow believers to ask for us. All are valid dynamics. In the context of Catholic doctrine and proper theological formation, this shouldn't be controversial.
@@drstewart If you think 'prayer' means simply to ask then that is probably where your problem lies. You may find taking some classes in a seminary that are made available to independant students helpful
Mama Mary beseech Your Son Jesus for the fulfillment of my intentions. Jesus Son of David Everliving God have mercy on us and the whole world and my intentions.Alleluia Amen ❤
I believe in the Assumption of our Holy Mother, where there is A father, son and holy spirit, there is a mother. Our Lady intercedes for us. right beside our Lord Jesus Christ. 🙏
So profound and full of Love. I need to listen to this more than once. Thank you Fathers & Brother Vincent.. Salve Maria! Jesus we love you and adore you!
The Blessed Virgin Mary is: - the “woman” of Genesis 3:15 & Rev. 12 - the nemesis of Satan (Genesis 3:15) - the mother of God (Luke 1:43) - the spiritual mother of all (John 19:26-27) - the new “type” of Ark (Rev. 11:19-12:2) - the Queen of Heaven and Earth (Rev. 12:1-2) - FULL OF GRACE (Luke 1:28) - whose soul magnifies the Lord (Luke 1:46) - the Almighty has done great things to (Luke 1:49)
Thank you so much. We need these verses in grained in our hearts and minds so we have the Bible verses to support the role of our Blessed Mother in our salvation. I will read all these verses. ❤thank you.
Blessed mother Mary, our Queen of the Holy rosary, thank you for answering my prayers ❤️🕊️🙏 iloveyou so much blessed mother.❤️❤️❤️ 🥰😍😘😇🤗 The joy I feel right now is overflowing, 🙏❤️🕊️ . Thank you for peace in our family and the whole 🌎.🙏🙏🙏
My son and I are devoted to our holy mother Mary Our hearts ♥️ are on fire with love for our blessed Virgin and her divine son Jesus Christ King 👑 of kings Amen 🙏 amen 🙏 amen 🙏
i dont know why fathers but so many protestants had argued with me before about mama mary. I think i was able to defend our faith well 'cuz at the end of the arguments, they had nothing more to say except to call me all kinds of calumny. but i have been praying for the conversion of all apostates, heretics, and schismatics 'cuz i knew they were heretics and needed a miracle to be saved. 'cuz no salvation outside the church. *Jesus, we, us? We are one. One in pains, one in sufferings, one in sorrows, one in persecutions, one in glory. We save. Totus tuus.* - Victim Soul Jesus, i trust in You. Jesus, i love You to folly! Salve Maria. 🙏😇🌷
Mama Mary is the new ark off the covenant. The ark contains the word off God. And mama Mary contain the word too. Why would God let the first room of Jesus stay on earth ! Jesus sits in the right hand off God I think Mama Mary is on the Left!hand of God!
Thanks for the encouragement! I've had _True Devotion to Mary_ for a number of years now but I have continually been distracted by other books (and by the world ) and have never read as far as the Consecration. I just went and grabbed St. Louis' book so I can read more today. Dominus vobiscum, Reg
Hello! You can participate in the Consecration Course on our webpage and you'll get to know the True Devotion better: reconquest.heralds.org/course/course-for-consecration-to-jesus-through-mary/
I'm a cradle Catholic and have no problem believing any dogma concerning our Lady. Nevertheless, it was wonderful to know so much profound truth regarding the assumption of our Lady. Ave Maria!
MY POINT ON THE ASSUMPTION OF MARY MOST HOLY IS THIS. REMEMBER, WHEN JESUS WAS HANGING ON THE CROSS, HE REWARDED THE REPENTANT CRIMINAL PARADISE RIGHT THERE AND THEN. I CANNOT ACCEPT ANYONE WHO SAYS THAT THE CRIMINAL WHOM LORD JESUS TREATED WITH SO MUCH LOVE AND COMPASSION IS MORE HIGHLY FAVORED BY THE LORD JESUS THAN HIS OWN MOTHER, MARY MOST HOLY. THE ASSUMPTION MYSTERY MUST BE EXPLAINED ON THIS THEOLOGICAL BASIS BECAUSE MARY MOST HOLY PLAYED ONE OF HIGHEST ROLES OF GOD’S PLAN FOR THE SALVATION OF MANKIND. MARY MOST HOLY, BEYOND ALL REASONABLE DOUBT, OVERWHELMINGLY DESERVES THE REWARD OF HER ASSUMPTION BODY, SOUL AND SPIRIT INTO HEAVEN!
As a Protestant I have come to accept the dogma of the Assumption on intellectual grounds. I became a Christian - from atheism - by experiencing Jesus - Who pointed to the logic of His creation as proof of His existence. Logically, belief followed. In retrospect I realized that I had instinctively recognised His voice. 😃 Don't discount reason in your arguments.
'Can God make a circle a square or whatever?' Yes. Because of divine's spontaneity. God's spontaneity. Which means if you are in front of a circle and God want you to perceive a square, divine spontaneity is such that, if you see it again you will see not a circle but a square. Faith is also the invisible action of God in the soul of human being.
Which name is meantioned the most in catholic or orthodox Church? Mary? In sermons and in usuall talk every day.... Mary? Is her name meantioned more often than the name of Jesus? Its a serious question and i hope for a true answer
I am trying to consecrate myself in the link, but all it says is I will be notified when it starts and yet nothing has happened for over a month. Should I continue waiting?
@@HeraldsoftheGospel_official Thank you very much. I almost thought the enemy was messing up my inbox so that I wouldn't see the messages. One more question. I would like to do it with the mother of my children, but she isn't baptized yet...but she is taking the catechism classes. Can she do it or will she need to be baptized first?
I would say that it is better she wait till she's baptized. However, without making the consecration with you, she can offer herself to Mary and ask Her protection, or you could do it in her name.
Incredulity is NOT hatred. Eyebrows disappear into hairlines when the assumption is mentioned to Protestant Christians.🤔🙄😕 More information would help the discussions.....
