Well, you have two problems, people put nitrogen gas in the wheels for a reason, Tires are filled with nitrogen because it's less likely to expand and contract with temperature changes compared to regular air, which helps maintain tire pressure more consistently, but pumping a very hot exhaust gas that's filled with impurities doesn't sound like a good idea
@@omaralsabbagh3606I'm just trying to understand how the exhaust compresses the air enough to fill a tire. The hose was huge. Why not just use a compressor. Semi trucks already have inflators mass produced. Makes me wonder if this is the wish version of automatic tire inflators...
Given the tires are pontoons makes it a little less impressive, but I love it too, cause it uses those 90 horses, and how many pound feet of torque, so well
Had sexual that you restricted. San Francisco, Hayward, San Leandro, Richmond , Fremont , Newark. Pleasanton, concord , Livermore , San Jose , Europe. SAY SOMETHING
I saw a video of this car, and it can go all terrain. No joke. Extreme mud, water, snow..broken rocks...it went everywhere with ease...it was beyond impressive
Wow, almost like the Sherpa has been out for decades. Kanye West even made a commercial with McDonald’s while driving one. You’re seriously just now seeing one of these?
Sorry to burst your bubble, but this vehicle uses a 1.5 liter Renault 4cyl diesel. It produces 90HP, and only 162 LB-FT of torque. It was used due to its range and reliability.
@@Mike-wv7ewIt's not about power, it's about the torque. This thing could cross the great lakes if it wanted to. And plenty of room in the cabin to store additional 50-100 gallons of fuel. Seems like a cool apacolypse type car, other than being painfully slow. Think it tops out at like 30mph
The tires don't go to 0 psi - that would be a full vacuum. At most, the tires will deflate to 14.7 psi, or 1 bar, which is the atmospheric pressure at sea level
0 psi is only a perfect vacuum on an absolute scale. Tire pressure is always measured in relative pressure, where 0 psi is the same as surrounding air (regardless of the planet or elevation or such). So usage of 0 psi is entirely correct, it can just be a bit confusing to some people who don't know the details just like with relative humidity. Absolute pressure unit is actually psia to distinguish from psi (although sometimes it could potentially be absent)
Okay so if you get a flat does your car say 14.7? Does it say 1 bar? No, it just says 0. Just like boost, or literally almost anything else, we measure in relative pressure. This isn’t the space marines.
There is nothing impressive about high torque... You can take a motor with 100 lb/ft and throw 1000:1 gear it and viloila - you got yourself 100,000 lb/ft of torque out... At 3 RPM though.
@@PinePrincei mean the cybertruck could have been something like this but a lot less extreme, being able to be fast but also protected. however id say even with the current ct it’s overkill.
@@case2238It's literally the same company as the Sherp. The CEO and main shareholders for Sherp are Ukrainian living in Kyiv, they opened Atlas after the war because their assembly line in St. Petersburg was taken by the Russian military. Now they have Sherp USA and Atlas for these upgraded vehicles, the cost is roughly the same. Sherp website lists a new loaded model for 185k
After 9 hours of waiting they brought him down from the mountain. I’m a flight nurse so my partner and I were at the base of it, we tried getting up there but it was too steep and unstable without hiking gear. Actually it was a Sherp @redux467 now that you mention it
@@aoliya107it was founded in russia and headquartered in Ukraine. After russia decided to begin b*mbing Ukraine and k*lling its people, the head of Sherp cancelled rights for russia to produce the vehicle.
Yeah look at all folks cheering when defense contractors and poIiticans profit while Ukrainians and Russians needlessly lose their lives and the rest of us deal with backfiring sanctions while Russian economy weathers sanctions fine, military grows as does brics and price of dollar drops and inflation rises.
Im still 99.9% sure it's just a modified sherp. It makes sense considering ukraine would have a bunch lying around from the soviet days. Besides designing an entirely new atv for the consumer market probably isnt a top priority for Ukraine at the moment.
@@Big-lronit’s not a modified sherp because a Sherps wheels do not move like that they just lock up one side to steer this is a completely different machine they just look similar. Also the sherp does not have a steering wheel
I love how he never explained that the vehicle is the greatest off-road vehicle ever developed. It can go anywhere… ANYWHERE. It’s not going to win any races but it will get you where you need to go.
Bro that would be HELL, it’s incredibly slow, probably rides like a regular atv, isn’t really comfortable, and you can hear EVERYTHING, no chance for a nap
As usual it is nothing compared to it’s Russian counterparts. Check out the Shatun 4x4 or 6x6. They are reticulated for much better maneuverability and off road ability. They do everything Atlas can do but much, much, much better. The Shaman 8x8 is also something to check out.
Those Sherp-like ATVs were designed by Soviet/Russian inventor Alexey Garagashyan. He is known for unortodox designs and some crazy offroad prototypes including 2WD bike since late Soviet times. He broke up with guys manufacturing it so you probably didn't know about him. He is alive and active. His YT www.youtube.com/@garagashyan
Again ruzzian crying🙄🙄🙄 Ukraine is much better in a lot of things than your country. They have nothing but still can beat your "great army" and produce such a beautiful machines.
it's private company produced vehicle and those money were landed fueling US economy, 90% of those funds left in US to pay for military supply production at local factories creating work places ...
Nah. Avtoros Shaman 8x8 is better. Shatun 4x4 and 6x6 are far better and are reticulated for superior off road ability. As usual, this simply cannot compete with it’s Russian counterparts.
