Can never catch live stream due to work schedule but I re watch these dune pvp streams I am a huge fan of watching this game being played by good players.
*Turin every single game* : Full greed economy, no military upgrades *Also Turin every game* : Surprised pikachu face when all his neighbours beat him up :P
Thanks for archiving this up on RU-vid, Turin! I live in Southeast Asia and so I rarely if ever am on time to catch a stream, so these uploads really help. Also, please never stop playing Harkonnen- like Duke Leto, taint jokes never get old!
Everytime I opress my spice fields they rebel continuously. Out of 3 fields 1 is always rebelling. It's not sustainable and I'm falling behind on Solari because of it. What should I do? I see yours are not rebelling. Why?
Random chance that increases the more debuffed a village is, it's actually pretty easy to make them self-sufficient, staff your spice villages to the gills with heavy militia when you're readying to automate them. Research Arrakis Butchers and maybe one of the green techs that improve your militia and run the Office of Order, and for extra flavor have a recruitment office in the same village to further bolster your manpower and thus minimize the impact the office itself has on your economy. If you want to go truly overkill, have an adjacent village with a military base and if it can reach, a missile battery. With all these modifiers you will overpower most other economies and have so much manpower you could theoretically spam Cerberus for days. Late game Harkonnen economy is truly scary when oppression is going off left-and-right, if you're not hearing combat noises every few seconds, chances are you're not oppressing enough. Just try to avoid having these on your frontlines or isolated zones that Fremen could sneak attack, that makes them extra tasty. Hope this helps let your Baron feast!
Mr Turin please have patience! You are so good at greed and avoiding attention before these World War I style "let's go over the top boys!" into machine guns lol
I am sure he found out but Spice Silo buff is only 1x max meaning multiple in one region as Corino is a waste as is multiple in neighboring regions. Tooltips FTW
Great game! That Hark game was sooooo sick... Also don't forget about the 'no fly zone' mission that Corrino gets. Could stop Atreides from flying into those distant annexed territories.
Looking into it, Dune Spice Wars does appear to be steam deck conpatible. Just seems like the text might be a bit small. If you were to get it, it would 100% be compatible with playing with everyone on pc.
@gun_hound yeah he's such a good bloke! It shows with how he speaks to his Mrs to how he talks to us also. Been here for a very long time. I dont even play any games hahah I just enjoy watching his live streams
I have a question, that might be stupid: How do you manage to get an assassination to actually go of? I only play single player (so I understand it might be different there), but for both the ai and me it seams very easy just to kiill the cells and prevent the attempt from succeding?
You're correct it is generally very easy to stop an assassination. The only real way for it to succeed is for the aggressors to successfully siege/camp on a region with a cell in it so it cant be searched... or to overwhelm the person with military concerns so they just dont have the units/time to spare to search villages. In this game, I gambled expecting my hege would beat out the attempt and used my army to fight off attacks instead of search
