Ah that truly bizarre use of “stage” classification. It actually has no real set description per stage hence the never consistent description of mods used in each different owners version of said stage. Glad we don’t get bogged down in that trope here in 🇦🇺 In terms of power it might have basic functionality.
Still own mine after nearly 10 yrs! Its seen better days, unfortunately it no longer sits indoors so the paint has seen better days 😢 my rear quarter panels look shot out thanks to all the cloud seeding and climate change happening here in southern California. Thankfully its just cosmetic, but the car really deserves someone that would appreciate her and drive her like she's stolen! Sucks having a car for each day of the week 😂 idk what I was thinking buying all these cars 😮😅😊
If were being honest its not a B5 S4 anymore is it? These cars are great as they came from Audi and drive beautifully. Whilst I understand the desire to tune the fuck out of them what you end up with is not a B5 S4. I've owned mine for 19 years, done 302k miles and enjoy it for what it is. Additionally, as its stock it has never let me down and stuck at the roadside.
I don’t agree with you. One of the main beauty’s of a car, is that you can tune it and change it to shape to your personality. One of the main reasons for the support for these cars is the tune-ability. My B5 S4 was standard when I bought it but it had problems with the turbos etc. So i have upgraded everything - 500PS but still reliable. I have probably taken a hit on the value but I am not planning to ever sell it.
