I was in the red Alfa and can only agree its was a fantastic event helped by the weather, locations, lovely vehicles, organisation and people. Old school
A first rate video at what appears to be an excellent , well organised and quite unique event. I do like the concept, meet up, drive, meet up. It is also great to see so many spectators and hear the applause as the cars go past. The Pilot is a magnificent car you know and it is terrific to see it where it belongs, out on the road being admired, The car I would have is the Jag 420G, I have lusted after one since I was a kid they are my dream cars. A perfect event with ideal weather and a superb mix of cars and a holiday atmosphere. I think a shout out is warranted for Mrs OCC who is very much an integral part of the channel and its creation and deserves a mention I certainly feel for driving the MX5 camera car in the convoy which is some pleasant footage. Each and everyone one of those vehicles is loved in every sense of the word.
Effortless dissemination of motoring knowledge as usual at an event in the glorious sun reminiscent of Goodwood and other classy classic events. With your usual flowing commentary and excellent editing made me seethe with jealousy at being trapped carless in my flat! Perhaps a bucket list item! Whatever, it was such a great display of mouth watering classic and old cars which gives hope for the retention of the great cars of yesteryear and also the preservation of modern classics as they are so clearly cared for BUT USED! That is an essential part of preservation. And with young men like your son obviously keen to continue the family tradition of enthusiasm of such cars and the deep knowledge, the comfort is that the world is a brighter place! Thank you and your family for maintaining and fostering the motoring faith! Rob🙂
Thanks Richard. A spectacular day with a great mix of vehicles. I love the crowd lined roads and plenty of extra helpers along the way. It looked very well organized which I'm sure made it much more pleasant for the participants. I can't pick a favorite with so many great cars!
1:01:00, I believe I’ve seen that Model A Ford at a show somewhere, here in Florida. Not sure where, but if it’s been to any show around North East Florida, or the Orlando area. Could be the same one. Neat little 2tone MG.[ 1:04:22]. I love that cruising music. - it goes well while watching the V8 Pilot driving. 📻🙂
wow - great show. Might try and make the effort myself next year - 2 hours away for me so at the extremities of how far I'd travel, but such a great show might be worth the jeopardy of a longer run in an old car. Or we could bring the mk1 mx5 and then it'd be fine 🤣 Did over a 1000 miles in that in 4 days pre-RU-vid channel so it's just like a 'modern' really 👍
Marvellous video, been watching your channel for a while now, but never expected to see a Massey Ferguson 510 combine. As a retired agricultural engineer for a Massey Ferguson dealer for 30+ years, I have seen the insides of MF combines more times than I care to remember. As a bit of extra information, the 510 combine was produced from 1966 until 1970. As a company, in the mid to late 1970's we had a contract to supply 2nd hand MF 510 combines to South Africa. Dozens were dismantled and sent from Southampton to Port Elizabeth and were then rebuilt on arrival. Often wonder if any of them still survive.
Great event lots of vehicles very interesting. I think my next outing with the Stag will be to the Hook Norton Brewery meeting on Sunday 11 August. All the best Bob
I see another old inter war Rover. Possibly a 12. May I ask, do people look down on the 12 because they think it has an inlet over exhaust engine. Having lived with one for a number of years during my childhood. I can assure you its engine is all overhead valves. Least ways, My Dad's one was. So it went better than you think.
What a fantastic show!! And so well organised This is certainly one I’d like to take part in in the near future And once again, such a great video 👍🏻👍🏻
