I've been reading comics since 1975 and you're currently the only comic channel on YT that I watch with any regularity. I love the knowledge and presentation in each video. Thank you for persevering and moving forward. Hopefully "the man" doesn't keep trying to bring you down.

Goddamit, don’t give up. Your videos look professional, no nonsense presentation of the subject that’s both enjoyable and informative. That upload was really good, all of them are so good that I even like to listen when you talk about the stuff I’m already familiar with (just to remind myself about something, pick a behind the scenes fun fact or look at some history with fresh eyes). I’m not a guy that follows hundreds of people but I always look forward to anything new on your channel, because sometimes I’ll find that missing reason I needed to finally pick-up an old title I was always thinking about reading. I don’t understand what was ‘wrong’ in the first version, punishing someone for not meeting their standard is bad enough but not pointing out what exactly is so offensive? That’s being a dick on another level just because they can.

You are one of my favorite channels, not just about comics, you do an excellent job explaining what you like and don´t like in a mostly objective manner, your love for comics is contagious.

I skipped the original video because I have the Authority in my to read stack for this month, but then I saw what happened to the video... That sucks! I am leaving the video play in the backgroud to help feed the algorithm and I will come back to watch once I read the whole run. I hope this reupload does well and it doesn't get hit the same way.

The internet is weird. I wrote a movie review a week ago, and when I posted it on Twitter, it was blocked due to the title, even though there was nothing offensive about the review. RU-vid does the same thing, due to some wording, videos are blocked or age restricted over minor things

Engaging. Watched. Re-watching original. And they may not know why it was tripped. The algorithm is a deliberate black box these days to prevent easy trend hacking.

Literate commentary on comic books is a rare commodity, and I'd miss you if you rage quitt. Not that I'd blame you. RU-vid is an arbitrary shit show. They badly need a rating system so they can target their advertising in a more professional manner. You are hitting a key demographic, one with considerable disposable income. They should be supporting you, instead of making your life hell.

As much as I REALLY enjoy your videos, you, like so many content creators, fell into this TRAP which SO MANY people were warning about when ytube first started paying you to create videos and are now you are complaining about it!

I'm hesitant to leave this comment because it likely won't be taken well, but I'm sending it in the hopes of trying to give helpful advice. I've watched your channel for quite awhile and feel compelled to say, how you handled this incident does not reflect too well on you. The reason is you're venting your frustrations to an almost over the top degree, but expecting the viewer to care for the sake of sympathy without self improvement. It's the rule of attraction; the more needy you are, the more you repel people. Had you just kept your head up and stayed silent you'd have maintained your dignity, if nothing else, but you ended up cutting off your nose to spite your face by galvanizing your og video to put up this nonsense parody. In this case after having seen the original, I have to say youtube was sort of correct; the uncensored panels are what did it, right or wrong, but to ignore that and put this unwatchable tripe up where you censor the Engineer's body is pretty childish. Now there's no chance of the age restricted version growing- and it got back to 100k views even still- by overreacting to a setback. If you need a reason why your channel is not expanding, it's perhaps because you're blaming something else instead of accepting that your more introverted style that must include not ever having to go on cam is what the real issue is. A channel without a personality in front of it nor an angle is never going to grow in the way you want. Anyway sorry if I'm too blunt, but I think someone giving it to you relatively straight is more helpful in the long run then ego boosting comments from existing subscribers being 'nice' to calm you down after a huge meltdown. Is it unfair what happened? Absolutely. Frustrating? Sure. But you're throwing out negativity and wondering why it isn't working. I used to respect that I thought your minimalist channel and modest success was a choice, that you weren't in it for money. You haven't given the viewer a reason why they should care enough to *want* to keep coming back regularly beyond pity and that's key.

Great job .❤ Overall wildstorm and this series beyond stormwatch was a complete rip-off image failure. The bright marvel coloring and some of the page layouts were good. But the watchmen type rip-off is to me a image and Jim Lee joke on the industry. Books like have nearly ruined my interest in the industry.😛
