0:12 I've watched this scene over and over, and I still got the chills. The silhouette of Apep's giant form, the sandstorm, the backsound, this looks like a scene that's been taken straight out of a nightmare.
@@michapiasta3072well, not really. The hydro, anemo, and geo dragons are all new, or considered babies/teens. Raiden killed hers aka the huge snake skeleton thing. So there's only really about two last ancient dragons like Apep
Buer so pure of heart to heal the dragon of it’s agony even tho it hates the god so much. I was crying just by thought of not seeing her again or see her become the irminsul branch would be just too painful.
The winners can shape teyvat, while the losers must turn to ash.... I think hoyo is hinting at the plot of the natlan archon quest. Combined with the title "incandescent ode of ressurection" makes me excited
You can really clearly see how miserable the elemental life forms are in their combat (Except for the chomper thing that thing is nuts). If you let the tiny blob things attack you for awhile, you'll realise they only have one move which is to bop you. They don't even get close enough to hit you. And they only deal like 69 damage. It's just sad
Something no one seems to talk about enough during the boss quest aftermath is that Apep spoke nearly the exact same lines as Dainsleif did in the Travail trailer, especially during the Natlan part. "The victors shall burn bright while the losers must turn into ash." On the other hand, we still dont know what the "Pages of Purana" mean and the sumeru archon quest is coming close to its end before we move to Fontaine. Either genshin still has secrets to reveal in Sumeru or perhaps they changed some things from what they originally hinted in the Travail trailer.
purana, in my language, means something like old, so i’m guessing that the whole sumeru arc was about exploring the “past” with rukkhadevata and her last words and how history was literally rewritten
What’s interesting is that in Raiden Shogun quest II, Ei was also willing to sacrifice herself for the people of her nation. And if it weren’t for the fact that the space she entered was chaotic, Inazuma really would have lost their archon for at least 500 years. Once again it sort of ties in with that slime-gnosis-storyline theory
from what i understand, there is 1 dragon king (THE dragon king) and there are 7 sovereigns (apep is one of them the dendro one). meaning the dragon king used to rule over the seven sovereigns. in simpler term, it's just like the heavenly principles who ruled over the 7 archons.
I was doing this quest but to my surprise i find out Apep made a deal with Scarlet King & swallowed him at the end, Apep mention that she can't fully control forbidden knowledge because his will kind of twisted her from the inside so.... i have my suspicion about this Warden but i hope that is not him cause it is heartbreaking to see this form😟
@@Sacration no, the unknown god is the Heavenly Principles, line from the last part of the Sumeru Archon quest by Nahida to Traveller: "I'm sure you remember the entity that changed your fate - the Heavenly Principles"
@@impureEnigma Than doesnt mean shes talking about asmoday but the person she work for. She tells us herself shes the SUSTAINER of heavenly principles so the law enforcer of whatever is above her (Primordial one or second who came)
I hate Hoyoverse. They had no right to make them so cute and nice and then also make them material sources and stories where they just keep getting sacrificed.
The world they’re from is Apep’s innards. It is large and powerful enough to sustain countless numbers of lesser elemental beings within itself. If it weren’t for the corruption of Forbidden Knowledge, they would probably have been living peacefully within it to this day.
Idk why but i have a feeling that the travellers are the dragon kings. They have control over the most important ecological system of teyvat. The white element which we have at the start might be something that only the original rulers of teyvat can use
@@redsusoverparadise2700 Right, and according to Venti at the end of the Mondstadt arc, doing so constitutes borrowing some of that Archon’s power. Traveler even has the opportunity to apologize for using the power of Anemo, gained from a Mondstadt Statue of the Seven, without permission.
So, is dvalin also part of the dragonkin like apep? It said some died leaving bones but I guess that's not durin, since durin was just a creation of Gold, one of the witches
@@hardivora1468 Yes but Orobashi may or may not have been an elemental dragon. We know it was ancient and wielded great power, and dragons in Asian cultures aren’t all that far removed from snakes. In fact, in some ways, Asian dragons are sometimes viewed as massively upgraded snakes.
@JJ unlikely. Dragons and snakes are VERY distinct in Japanese folklore. The slaying of Orobashi is referenced to that legend of the evil Orochi. Dragons have totally different stories and are infact one of the holiest monster around.
One of the Seven Sovereign dragons that fought against Phanes the Primordial One, yes. Dvalin and Azhdaha, though they may be vestiges of their former selves, are Dragons and still fit of the title. Orobaxi on the other hand is not one of them and was just a serpent that was born around the time of the Archon War and died by the hands of the Raiden Shogun.
Hello I am a f2p My current team have keqing, xinqiu, benette and kazuha should I change any my team. (I only have keqing, kazuha and ayaka are my only 5 star now)
@@harshm4408 and in neuvillettes official introduction on social media a character called Xbalanque, One Entombed With the Primal Fire is introducing him. They said that “Someday, when they return, their true ordeal shall begin” which really makes me think they r one of the seven sovereigns and might play a large role in Natlan.
@@aalzien722 did I say wrong though? Lol it's not the game's fault that you're apathetic or can't understand the lore of this quest like other people do. I'm not even talking to you, why are you offended? 😂😂😂
