Hallo , the best is to rent a car. The island is peaceful and safe. It is not possible to advise the best because the weather changes a lot. I would definitely go whale watching. I think the price is 50 euros. The whole island is beautiful. azoreswhalewatch.com.
We rent a car for a week, what a beautiful island, we saw everything on the Island. Waterfalls, small towns, beautiful nature, and so much more. We also did whale watching. I hope this island will never discovered by cruise boats and massa tourism. A beautiful natural island that should not be destroyed. Azores i love you.
