I've listened to an absolute shit-ton of music since the late 90's. Wow, what an authoritative opinion I have. Anyways, this album has captivated me. Among the nostalgic themes are spread these great moments of newness, of unique takes. For example, a minute or so into Survival into the 21st Century, what the fuck is that?? It's like staring into absurdity and finding some sort of confusing revelation. It gives me the strangest vibes. There are plenty of others sprinkled throughout the album. The Babe Rainbow, keep doing that. Please. This album is great because of those moments, and also because they are packaged in something that's comfortable and easy to digest.
First time hearing this LP back in summer 2018. It was my first time on ecstasy too. I dunno if anything will ever recreate the same experience like that again.
