Rex is the only 501st clone, none of the others even have blue armour, howzer has turquoise, Nemec is green and turquoise, Fireball is green, the only other clones have red, purple, green or turquoise markings, none blue

I think the assassin is a clone of Crosshair. When crosshair finally beats him, it will be revealed. This will symbolize crosshairs full arc coming to an end, as he “kills” his old empire self, and fully transforms as his new bad batch self

Did anyone else clench their cheeks when the assassin clone almost choked out and drowned Crosshair? I was legit fearing for the dude. Whomever that assassin is, they are absolutely vicious and ruthless.

The connection between Omega and Crosshair started all the way from the first season in how Omega could relate to him and understood him. Crosshair knew this, always had a soft spot for her, fought against this softness...he just didn't show it apart from saving her from drowning in season one. You could see Hunter feeling jealous of this connection after he looked at the both of them. Rex is a true leader who can reason with people and provide hope.

Howzer, Nemec and Fireball were never 501st. Also the clone in purple is likely a 187th. Not 501st.

I was hoping for Crosshair and the Assassin to get into a Sniper vs Sniper fight and the episode did kinda deliver on that. This episode did not dissapoint.

That assassin better be important or I'm gonna question why they made him survive being shot twice, crushed by rubble, knocked off a waterfall, and socked in the face....

I so hope it’s Cody. Or anybody besides tech. This assassin doesn’t fit tech at all and tech had a great death that would be ruined by bringing him back.

I can imagine Crosshair shooting Omega in the end. Not like kiling her, but giving her some kind of tiny invisible bulletfroom piece of armor, so the empire thinks shes dead and they finaly stop searching for her as they would never do if she was alive. It would be perfect show of trust from omega and whole squad and it would suite perfectly for crosshair and him getting his skills back and using them for the good.

I called it earlier in the episode: they failed to turn Crosshair so they cloned him and that became the operative. The voice sounds like a clone, he talks like Crosshair, and his weapon is a sniper with a lot of emphasis on the scope. Not to mention when he shot their ship down by shooting one of the engines while moving, that's a Crosshair only shot. He's Crosshair's clone without the hand tremor. It'll turn to a showdown between Crosshair's evil and his good (the two of them fighting again), where the evil one gets the better of the good one and kills him as he sacrifices himself for Omega, sacrificing himself for the family he once betrayed. That's my theory for later on and I feel like it's a good end to Crosshair's story.

Most fan sites claim the Shadow Agent who survived is Tech. It's so obvious it could be Tech, that I don't think it is. Spoiler sites say Tech lives, and yes, we haven't seen Tech impact the ground, we haven't seen a dead body. While I adore the character, if he's brought back as a Shadow Agent, that would be worse than just dead. So I hope it's Cody.

Doubtful that Wolffe recognized any dead clones as 501st, except for Rex, they all died when the ship went down in S7 during Order 66. Houser was the clone that talked about Crosshair's attitude change around Omega. The clones w/ Rex are from other regiments.

The trooper that talks to Crosshair about how he is with Omega is Captain Howser, who was on Ryloth when Crosshair was with the Empire. I don't mean to be rude but do you rewatch episodes before you write your script, because you miss obvious things, and some of what you say is just wrong.

I know this is a shot in the dark but could the Operative be Delta- 07 Sev we never see his body. Also no clone is a better marksman or hand to hand combat specialist than Sev also he’s a commando already trained in infiltration. Along with his attitude and him reporting directly to scorch. Ik it’s a stretch but it’s possible. As for his armor it seems all members must where it.

I’m here now, just finished this episode. It was so AWESOME. Rex & Wolfe “reunited”, and Wolfe showed some good in him by letting them escape. So cool to see them together again in a different Star Wars show besides The Clone Wars.

Pretty sure there was no 501st on that base, there was 2 41st, and a purple clone and howitzer. I believe it could be tech like the way he had a buttons on his forearm which was cool btw was something Tech could do.... but I'm starting to think Maybe these special clones are trained to be like Crosshair and tech

Someone in the chat had a theory that crosshair was re-cloned and that we're seeing the clone of crosshair, hence the lack of skills. Furthermore, the real crosshair could've been the operative, which is why he absolutely violated the re-cloned one... I personally doubt this theory, but it would be a mind blower

Awesome Video!!! OMG THESE TWO EPISODES WERE ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!!!! Definitely My Favorite Episodes of The Season so far, And some of My Favorites of The Entire Show! It Was So Great To See Rex And Howzer Again!!! Rex will always Be My Favorite Clone, And Howzer has also quickly become One Of My Favroites! And I Loved It When Howzer Saved Crosshair from drowning. It was a big moment for Howzer, Who didn't trust Crosshair at the Beginning of these Episodes, But then ended up Saving Him in the end. And Wolffe returning was very surprising, But So Cool to see Him again! The moment when Rex Convinced Wolffe to stand down and let them go was So Perfectly Done! I Really Hope We see Wolffe and The Bad Batch Join The Clone Rebellion and Fight Against The Empire!!! These Two Episodes Were Just Amazing!!! This Season Has Been Fantastic So Far!!! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT EPISODE!!!!!! FORRRRRR THE REPUBLIC!!!!!!

There's a very noticeable animation error at 5:28 when Wolffe grabs his pistol it then disappears, I wonder if they rushed this final season

So i had two problems with this episode. 1. How was Wolffe not shot in the back by that commando with him and the clones not turning on Wolffe. Like those soldiers i assume came from Tantis. How could he just quickly change his mind and allow them to leave. Surely Hemlock will become aware of Wolffe's treachery letting the kid go. 2. How the fuck did that operative survive ths water fall and why did Howzer stun him instead of shooting him dead? How tf did he survive?

Imagine if the assassin clone turns out to be fives I would loose it🫨

Fellow comment reader, if you would like to know who this Clone Commando Assasin might be... I think this Clone Assassin is a Clone of Crosshair. Crosshair was the only one this clone Assassin called his brother. I think he mistook him for the other one. Like I first thought it would be Tech (Thank God it does not seem that this is Tech). Might be someone else, but the similarities in the voice (atleast in german) sounds pretty close to Crosshair.

I’d love to see these writers and animation team do an animated series based on the 10 years between The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones. So much potential there. This show is so much better than the live-action garbage from last year.

The assassin cant be tech. Tech has a recognizable face. This clone has jangos face. If its a clone we know its probably cody. Or its just an assassin clone. Might be cool if its something related to alpha-17. Maybe he trains all of them.

Hey there Theory, thanks for the cool video! I was thinking, what if that particular assassin was actually a clone of Crosshair? In my opinion he was definitely able to keep up easily with Crosshair shooting a sniper rifle. Also, he seemed to move as swiftly and silently like the former. Perhaps the clones were tested on midichlorians but the defectives were meant to be used as a transfer of abilities or simply templates which are less individual but more obedient to the empire.

The negotiation was so good. I love it when the clones use their negotiation tactics. So good

I THINK the assassin clone is Tech. But the only thing the Empire was able to salvage from his mangled corpse was his brain, as that is what makes him special. His brain is then implanted into another body, be it flesh or machine. This reveal for the Bad Batch would be devastating and really demonstrate the horrors of Mount Tantiss and the lengths Dr. Hemlock will go to for the Empire and his immoral science experiments. Also I think Ventress may appear as a prototype age-accelerated force sensitive clone (created using her DNA harvested after Dooku eliminated her) that even though it is a failed force sensitive clone, maybe she will be a partial success, retaining her saber/assassin skills or some sort of force based awareness. Either that or it's just a flashback of her (maybe even with Quinlan?) and it will be linked to the Bad Batch in some way or have some sort of Mount Tantiss relevance.

I don't know if anyone noticed but in episode 7, at 5:27, Wolfe unholsters his right hand blaster and holds his hand in that shape as if holding one, but it's NOT IN HIS HAND, nor his holster, after the clones run past him. 😂

The absolute disrespect to Howser in these reviews is concerning...

3:50, when Wolfe tells his soldiers "they are clones," they all immediately correct their posture and stand firm as a sign of respect to their brothers. Near detail I noticed. While they hunt other clones and follow orders, they are all brothers at the end of the day and it puts more sadness into how they are treated and manipulated.

I think the new clones could be a prototype for the death troopers the armor is similar the helmet voice and both experimented on plus knowing these guys will bite the tic tac to not speak gives a darker meaning to the death troopers

What's interesting are some of the other implications in the two episodes. Wolffe didn't know that the enemy were clones, nor that the clones, at least the defiant ones, were being transported and experimented on. That stands to reason that the remaining troopers still in service have no idea of what's happening. There's also the Commandos that were under his command. They feel or at least appear different than the Commandos seen on Tantis and with Hemlock. I can't remember if Wolffe is like Howzer where his chip was never activated, since Plo Koon was in a fighter at the time and it was Commander/Captain Jag(?) that shot him down. Thus, Wolffe's mind is the Kaminoan conditioning rather than the chip.

George Lucas was inspired to create the storm troopers after learning about the SS during World War II. The turn of the clones just shows how most people can be manipulated (brain washed) into doing things they would not normally do, under the right circumstances. On the flip side, Anakin's return to the light and with the clones in this episode and on other occasions on this show and in Rebels, we see how someone so manipulated can also be returned to their own natural view of morality through the support of those around them.

I don't think the assassin clone is Cody, he went awol after the mission with Crosshair in season 2. If you check, it's Howser who saves Crosshair, Howser was the Clone Captain on Ryloth.

The clone operative has got to be Cody imo. The way he was using the blade during his 1v1 with crosshair is similar to how he used it against the commando droids in that episode where he is on a mission with crosshair. Plus, at the end of the episode he apparently abandoned the empire but I have a feeling he was taken in and went through the process like the other clone operatives.

I wonder if when ever they meet ventless I wonder if she’s the one who tells them that omega is force sensitive or something happens that unlocks omegas force power which will be cool to see but so far this season has been awesome

The 501st is gone, none of them apart from rex is ex-501st. They are the clone rebellion.

Both times you mentioned 501st were indeed Howzer lol. I know it can be a little bit confusing with all the new straps and gear they have on now, but that's Howzer all the way my guy. Even the coloring is still the same, more teal/aqua/cyan than blue is what I saw. The only actual 501st trooper they have, that we know of so far, is Rex still. You can even compare when re-watching scenes of Howzer, with his helmet off, confronting and bickering with Crosshair. It's the same armor, coloring and straps still.

This episode was so good question does anybody know what’s up with Hunter? He’s been extremely quiet these past two episodes. Maybe he does feel responsible for what happened to Omega, but I loved how cross hair is being a type of father to Omega that’s was beautiful, especially when she’s like “you’re just like Hunter” “NO I am worse” loved it 😂. The assassin is definitely Cody or tech, Cody is a high probability since his absence of the show is so quiet and this new guy has escaped death twice. Then there’s the possibility of it being tech which would seem out of place at first but remember that the training these assassins go through “makes them different” and assuming the empire found his body (most presumably mutilated) there’s a chance they repaired him and made him anew making it easier to break him and even though he’s like crosshair it’s not like he’s as durable as wrecker. But I’m betting on Cody either way in his debut scene he gave crosshair a passing glance so it’s either of the two.

They've brought alot of characters back. So. Its possible.

Personally I don’t think the assassin is Cody. If you have watched every show of the clone wars and bad batch you would know or feel that it just wouldn’t make sense from a story standpoint considering he went awol in the last season.

M-count is midichlorians, they need a clone with high enough midichlorians for palpatine to possess

In my opinion, they would not willingly use such an intellectually advanced clone as Tech for combat. He would have too much knowledge on how the Bad Batch fights to be used so sparingly in a physical altercation. If Tech was going to be of the most use, it would be to use his genetics to amplify the clone scientists' intellect on Tantiss, or to leak the Bad Batch battle tactics for training/tracking purposes, possibly given the Techno-Union "Echo" treatment. The Clone assassin sent to kill the captured one and retrieve Omega is most likely Commander Cody post-brainwashing. The empire would not let a Former Marshall Commander of the GAR just go AWOL without being tracked down. Cody knew too much of the Empire to be let go of. It could most definitely be him. Another could be Clones of Crosshair or Clones with an added Genetic code of Crosshair. This could be why Crosshair's handshakes when he is shooting, that his DNA can no longer replicate that strand of DNA due to it being nearly depleted, just like SWT says at 2:20, and their chips were amplified while experimenting on clones in the early stages on Mount Tantiss once Tarkin learned about the possibility to intensify the chip's programming. I'm very curious to see which direction they take the series in from here, It's very good so far. Please lemme know what you think about my opinion, I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts.

I dont think he lost his memories or steps. i think he's coming to terms with killing clones. Crosshair really do be blasting stormtroopers left and right, but when it comes to clones, at least from what i saw, he has conflicting instincts when it comes down to it.

I have a WILD theory. The "abomination" clone that Sidious referred to could've been Rey's father. What if his age aligns up with Omega's just right that she turns out to be Rey's mother. I know, insane. But if u imagine what Emerie looks like with blond hair and compare her to Miramir, they're pretty similar. They could easily say that Omega changes her name so the Empire and it's remnant never find her.

HEAR ME OUT: the defective clones have had crosshairs sniping skills/defect put into them. (Idk if the new hunting clone things that got captured have a name so for the sake of the comment I’m gonna call them new clones) For one, ever new clone we saw was using what gun? A sniper, just like crosshair. 2: the new clone hit some amazing shots on that ship when it was leaving. Most normal clones wouldn’t even come close to hitting those 3: crosshair is clearly hiding something, it would make sense if that something was that they used his defect for the other clones, he also said he was part of that training thing to turn the normal clones into the new clones, instead of them trying to turn him into them they were trying to turn normal clones into him 4: the new clone we saw was always quiet and grouchy when talked to, kinda like crosshair 5: (maybe a far fetched one) crosshairs sniping capability’s have clearly diminished, maybe the result of them being stripped away and given to the new clones and not some hand injury?

Did no-one see the floating helmet behind Wolffe in the loading bay in last scene of the episode?

You know I would love to see Hunter and the Gang liberate all those clones in prison and the evil doctor chokes on his own incontinence and retire and live their lives freely but I just don't see that happening something devastating will happen and Rex wolf & Gregor will retire in Star Wars Rebels wolf mentions Jedi that betrayed to them and the question has lingered ever since who were these Jedi...? I also speculate that the bad batch we'll encounter ventures all the other way around and she will be able to answer their questions about m count..

Theory: omega is a gen 1 alpha clone where as most other clones are gen 2 beta clones omega might have in her blood a binding agent in her blood that helps to keep the DNA from degrading quickly unlike her brothers who all were given a agent in there blood to speed up growth since the host Jango Fett is dead and they are likely trying to use the same template omega is the last known genetic template holder that they can find as Boba Fett Jangos direct clone is a unknown specimen to Hemlock
