Balatro 1.0 IS HERE!!! To celebrate Chip was invited to shoutcast a head to head competition between youtuber extraordinaire GothicLordUK and developer extraordinaire Localthunk to see who can get the highest score in 4 games. Crowning the first ever Balatro 1.0 High Score Champion. This is part 2 of the event which includes the "halftime" and the last 2 games of the event.

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the "shoutcast" as you say. When the broadcast was first up on Steam I thought it was an interesting way to introduce Balatro to the audience. I watched the rebroadcast several times while it was up on Steam. You, Gothic and Thunk seemed to have such a good time with your sportscast persona, Chip. Enjoy the game and enjoy your contribution to its launch.

It does. It makes it so if you score 1000 chips and 2 mult, it instead scores 501 chips and 501 mult. This makes your overall score go from 2000 to 251,001
