Released in 1973 on Sonet (UK), "The Cajuns Vol.1" captures some of the most influential figures of the Cajun Folk scene in an intimate live session. Set up and recorded by Sam Charters in Lafayette, Louisiana, the albums exhibits an ensemble of excellent players as well as giving a view into the rich musical traditions of the Acadien people.
