The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. The Gun and the Gunslinging. As told by the Gun Trainer.

A behind the scenes look at gun trainer Joey Dillon working with actor Tim Blake Nelson and the Coens to make "Buster Scruggs" a gunslinger's gunslinger! Buster used a Colt "Single Action Army," the "Peacemaker," in .45 cal. 5.5 inch barrel. Bare steel. Wood Grips. The Hero gun was a Taylor's and Co. and the backup (also used for the fast draw cantina scene when I doubled him) was a Cimarron.
-Jesus existed. Even atheists admit that. But was he crazy? Or is there something bigger for you out there if you were to look into it. I pray you do! God loves you and wants a relationship with you right now right as you are... Ok watch my video now.

You did good. great movie. Buster was very believable. When he shot the bartender from around his back, and sunshine showing through the hole in the bartender was one of my favorite seens in the entire movie. Really good stuff. Never will forget the wounded cowboy crawling on the floor of the saloon towards the door and Buster saying, "here, let me get that for you". Priceless.

I thought the whole movie was fantastic. I especially liked the scene in the saloon. where Buster Scruggs refuses to play the dead man's hand. aces and eights, and because of the saloon's rules he gives up his pistol and the two senorita pistols. leaving him forced to do what I consider, the greatest gunslinger trick I have ever seen in a western. where he kicks the plank on the table. causing his opponent to shoot himself in the head three times. IT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! Tim Blake Nelson is just an incredible actor.

@vincentdorsey8545
@vincentdorsey8545 Месяц назад
@@livingadreamlife1428 Yep, the actors boots are also not right for it. The boots should have 1 1/2 riding heels. Those heels stick out about 1/4 past the back of the boot. Also, the spurs are not on tight enough. They shouldnt dangle like thaThis is to support the horseshoe of the spur. The spur shank should curve upward and the little nub goes down to keep the rowel from touching the ground.

You're correct, however both Taylor's and Cimmaron do a lot more QC on the guns they sell than their Italian origins. Also, while not 100% in either direction, Taylor's tends to deal more in Uberti's and Cimmaron tends to be more Piettas. Most of my cowboy guns are Ubertis from Taylors although I think one of my rifles ('66 Henry) came from Cimmaron.
