A brilliant trailer, and yet it still doesn't entirely capture the magic of TBoGT. A perfect expansion pack / DLC in every possible way. The features and gameplay elements it added were fantastic (parachuting, the mission replay system etc). The weapons and vehicles were catastrophically fun. The sticky bombs, the explosive shotgun rounds, the APC (tank) and the Buzzard military helicopter brought a new level of insanity to GTA IV, especially in the multiplayer (which, tragically, died a slow and painful death to modders and cheaters). There was a slick, colourful gloss to the overall experience in TBoGT, with the flashy nightclub scenes, the chaotic helicopter sequences, and the pumping house music keeping your pulse high. A stark contrast to the gritty, grey and depressing tones of The Lost and Damned DLC. TBoGT is some of Rockstar's finest work.
What a review. I've played video games my entire life, starting with NES; this is THE best game I have ever played. I really miss it and wish it were available on PS4. I've considered buying another PS3 solely for it.
This will always be the best GTA in the XX° Century, not only for the story, but also for the various kinds of music. After CJ, my heart pulse for Luis Lopez. HALA GTA Y HALA LUIS, PARA SIEMPRE 😀.

@@jakowski630 If it EVER does get here, I mean R* delayed the launch of a FINISHED game just because they didn't want to jeopardize the non stop Cum known to them as SharkCards from constantly running out of the Penis known to them as GTA Online, that Cockstar have been giving head to for the last 8 years....GTA 5 felt to me like what Sleeping Dogs must have felt like to True Crime LA and NYC fans

The direction and focus of rockstar games going forward changed after the Ballad of Gay Tony, they went from "making games that we ourselves want to play" to provide as little of content at launch and milk the consumer for as much as possible at a later date by charging for the same game multiple times and hiding behind pay to win dlc
yeah, this is nearest Liberty City looked like GTA V, as opposed to the murky dark atmosphere in III, LCS and IV (including IV TLaD) Luiz and Tony were perfect. As much as the scum he was, even Rocco had a fair share. And we haven't had a joyful rich kid like Yusuf since TBoGT

This is 21 century! This is 2015-6-7-8-25 believe me. Yeah gta 5 is good. But who the fuck rob banks these days. It's not 1889. It's about clubs, drugs, cars, hookers, guns. Sure gta 5 have guns and drugs but come on... Getting 30mil and putting on stock market and making 100mill. The story behind this is genius!! Someone got the diamonds in the city that are worth couple of mils and entire city went nuts!!
God damn I feel Old!!! This was the shit back in the day, I swear, first time I saw this trailer... it BLEW my fuckin mind!!!! this was so amazing and refreshing, it was perfect, god damn!! GTA IV may not have all the amazing features GTA V has, but it does have a extraordinary vibe, Niko's Story, The lost and This, to me, THIS was the best moment in GTA history.

I remember downloading the trailer for this and watch it over and over again, the music still send chills down my spine. One day i bought the base game and both dlc, played them for hours and hours I dont remember finishing TBOGT tho, i may have left 1 or 2 missions but man using the small chopper and the AA-12 with explosive ammo was really fun.
Pretty awesome. Love that you can actually go to clubs/drink/dance/hook up. I wish they added that to GTA V. I also like how you could actually go into places in GTA IV & go out on dates/do fun activities. It would be cool if you could actually go into your dates apartment and get a little sneaky cut scene of you two inside. If these things would have all been added in GTA V, it would have made it a lot better. Hoping for a great GTA VI with a lot of these things added. It’s about that time for a new one.
I have to say liberty city looks great in this dlc, and GTA 6 better take place in vice city or any other cities like this night life version, or I ain't gonna download when it is released.
Same here, I played the old gta like gta 3, vice city, san adreas and the stories for 3 and vc and when this trailer droped for gta 4 tbogt I was freakin hyped and begged my mom to buy me it when it came out, Time does fly by 😭🤧

This GTA hits differently from all the other ones. It's everything I ever dreamed of in the game, it is so refreshing, the atmosphere aswell loving it!
I somehow lost my pants...greatest part of a wonderful game. GTA IV, tlad and tbogt were the absolute pinnacle of GTA, I really don't see how rockstar can top that series...GTA V, whilst flashy had very little substance. GTA IV was solid from start to finish
