I think Isabelle couldn't provide him what he needed, which is stability. He wanted someone who would become a part of his life, his home, which is in Ireland. Isabelle didn't do it, Rebecca did. It seems that Rebecca is beautiful, intelligent and a lot more understanding as a partner, as a wife. Their relationship probably is based on friendship, he probably doesn't have that passion he had with Isabelle, but he chose compatibility over passion, which us artsy people have difficulty doing. Being an artist and a fellow Taurean, like himself, I understand the madness, the passion.

Their marriage is pure hypocrisy, there is nothing beautiful about their story He is an excellent actor and I like his films but Rebecca their films are all average and her talent is also average.By the way her career is irrelevant and mediocre and as a writer too Just do a good search to see what he did with Isabelle Adjani and two beautiful couples that you they actually praised secretly married and at that time he had a girlfriend named Deya Pichardo with whom he lived, they married without the girl knowing. Charlie was pretentious in this interview and he cuts off and gives pregnant pauses. It’s like acting here. He did have great interviews though and gets people to dialogue and analyze in depth in a way that doesn’t exist on TV now.
