the fact that you can have bad years makes us all feel a little better lol because if it can happen to even you then we can't feel bad. I have been horrendous lately
Hey Pat - have you ever done a video about how to handle getting hitters reps? Ie. How often you wanna rotate guys in the field etc to make sure they get X amount of plate appearances - that’s something I’m always struggling with
I haven't, but it really depends. When I have stars, I only rest them when tired. If I have guys I want to get an bunch of plate appearances, I have them in multiple times per week, at different positions. One quick way to do it is figure out how many PA you want a guy to get, and then figure he'll get 3.5 per starts, and figure out from there. So if you want 100 plate appearances, that's 28 games, which comes out to a start every 6 games or so.
I know it's too late this year but I would like to get into Fantasy Baseball as well. Any suggestions as to where to play? I am sure some places are better than others. Don't mind paying a little bit either.
I’ve been playing a Nationals sim, and I did something I’ve never done before and signed my top two prospects (Crews and Wood) to 15y/150m contracts to basically have them as Nationals for life. Is that a poor approach? I’ve been thinking of trying to get House for 15/140 even though he’s probably half a season to a season away from the bigs
@@pfholden it’s blown up in my face badly, my Nationals have no depth, my prospects aren’t developing and my MLB team is flopping to 60 wins a year haha, I blew this save bad
That’s really funny I did something kind of similar with the Nats. I had Abrams and Wood for 10 yr deals and got 2 chips with it. That’s probably all the success I’ll have with the game now tho lol
I just finished the O's 2024 and won it all with a record of 90-72. Ryan O'Hearn!!! Monster year. Like you locked up Burnes and Adley long term. Wild world series game 6 Birds down in the series 3-2 and destroyed the Giants 22-9!!
Every save I do after several years my minor leagues always have unrealistically bad records. I have my CPU handle all minor leagues except for my top prospects which I lock. I also have age limits. Any advice on a fix for my next save?
I had this issue last year, but not this year. Maybe strengthen the age limits? I do 21 for rookie ball, and then 22 for A, 23 for A+, 26 for AA. I also keep roster limits to 38 and allow for ghost players.
