The difference between the 1998-99 ones and the 2023 videos is in the description, which are written by Heesoo herself. In the 98-99 ones she writes as if the videos were just recorded during the same day, commenting on what happened during the day, how her camera broke, etc. In the 2023 ones she refers to the events as the past, like mentiong how timw flew. Basically, in 1998-1999 we get comments from teenage Heesoo while 2023 is adult Heesoo talking.

NewJeans' aesthetic and the 1998-1999 dates are intriguing yet scary for me. I was born in 1998 so the idea of NJ's storyline going back to that era is messing with my mind in a way because on the one hand, i'm 24 now and the concept's like a coming-of-age story... but I was a literal baby in 98 so the nostalgia that's hitting me is weird...
No one mentioned it, but the channel reminds me of the genre Unfiction; fictional stories and artistic works that present to be real. I'm surprised that NewJeans is the first group to do such thing, which I love them more

i stumbled upon the channel on the youtube first page, i clicked on it because of the weird title and the first word that came into my head was "oh cool is this an ARG or an analog horror"
omg i noticed these videos in my feed and know the name is a representative of NJ's fandom name, but didn't think much of it. I thought it was just a fan channel picking up the name and uploading clips from the MV, which is technically correct. However it was a bit weird bcs it seemed like the uploader has insider knowledge to have those dates as titles.
hey, i saw this on another persons channel but did you know in the back of nwjns OMG mv you can see a girl in different clips just sitting there. I think it might be Ban and also i feel like once they run out of the ditto footage i feel like she might start uploading a few clips from the OMG video from her perspective.

I actually don't think they ever would. Usually a good storyline can really create a emotional effect on an audience and keep the curiosity and is a great marketing strategy. Also from what I have seen from senior groups, people are pretty great at deciphering even with the most complex interlapping storyline and are nice enough to drop an explanation video!
After all these years, I'm still asking the same question about the mystery/story behind BTS' trilogy. I guess with this one too, we'll never know 😂But then again, that's the best part of it. It keeps the curiosity alive.
More people started following new jeans by these misteriouse things...maybe that's why hybe told that 'Newjeans will be the next bts' even though it does'nt makes sense...now everyone is curious about what they are fr and what's the secrets behind these things
ok random theory and I didn't check the comments yet and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought of it but what if the video of her(Heesoo) walking around is like the side A mv where in previous scenes we can can see new jeans dancing in the front of the classroom with all the other students in the back but then fast forward to 4:47 and you can see Heesoo filming no one just her classmates and they all look confused. What if in that video Heesoo is actually filming new jeans or she thinks she is but in reality it's just like her filming in the class room??? again I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who thought of this so sorry if someone else already commented this and it felt like I copied it from them or smthng

This channel hasn't uploaded anything after 4th of February of this year. This channel is technically unactive and i think that heeseo is a fictional character that only comes when a new comeback of nwjns as she was the cameraman in the ditto mv.
New jeans is cool but the only thing that stops me from promoting them is their PD is creep at best and a disgusting person with bad intentions at worst. I ain't contending for the best case scenario let alone worst case.
