This short video contains various interview clips and acoustic guitar excerpts of The Bangles from 1984-1989. It was my intention to focus entirely on questions that pertain to music and performing as opposed to the more misogynistic questions about whether girls can be rock stars or which one was sleeping with Prince (by the way, the answer is "none of them").
The clips are from a variety of sources and therefore vary in quality, but I have attempted to streamline the material as best as I can to produce a smooth and entertaining compilation.

I've been a fan of the Bangles since 1989 and I've seen them performing four times live in the UK - once in March 2003, twice in June and August 2008 and again in October 2010. I have also MET Susanna and the Peterson sisters twice so Vicki and Debbi pretty much know who I am. They really are a great band who back in the 1980s proved that great-looking girls with great harmonies and a sprinkling of electric guitars and electric bass can work some serious musical magic.

I have been watching the Bangles since I was in my early 20 's. Now I am an old fart and I am still watching them . Susanna , Michael , Vickie ant Debbie, you are the best band ever . I hope I spelled all of your names correctly .

The Bangles are such a wonderful band! I have been listening to everything I can find to hear their music. It is so good! All four ladies are extremely talented vocally and musically. The concerts I have seen show the degree of talent these ladies have; the harmonies, what can I say other than some best in music! The Bangles are one of the best bands ever!

3:27 that Michael and Susanna sit there holding their tea while they do the interview is kind of funny. There was no coffee table? Coasters? They're rockstars, dammit!

Haha, if I remember correctly the interview was in Scotland and the show goes for a cozy feel so I guess they offered the girls tea and wanted to keep the tea in the shot. It's funny that in the full interview, there is a place where it cuts to later in the conversation and the teacups have been refilled. It's sweet. I love the hats too.

OMG, Susanna looks so cute with those bangs, and that cup of tea in her hand. Thank goodness that they appeared in the 80s. If they had appeared today, autotune would have ruined their natural sound.

Late -1980s greedy corporate bozos and a dork-ass meddlesome producer brought down this great band. They were like the Fanny of the 80s.

The best garage-rock chick group in history - no argument. These women brought a totally unique 60s influence to the 80s and beyond. Everything they did was absolutely authentic. Never been equalled.

That acoustic and vocals version of "Let It Go" is UNCANNY. Where did you get that, is there an entire version of this ? That song definitely should have been a single - it would have gone top 10 for SURE.

Unfortunately, that clip was all there was. It was a cutaway clip from one of their interviews (I can't remember which one). A "Bangles Unplugged" CD would have been marvelous considering their gift for harmonizations.
