@@colinyuhl9339 the only thing great about Schwab checking is the fee free ATMs, otherwise it’s no better or worse than Capital One. Schwab actually has longer ACH holds, usually up to a week.
I bank primarily with Chase. My savings is with a regional bank offering 4.5%. Fidelity for retirement. General brokerage is with Merrill edge, but I may move it to Schwab if I don't initiate Premium Rewards. I just opened a small savings with Schwab for their debit card, the ATM advantage aboard.
@@RJFinancialfor simple banking it’s the way to go. For cycling credit card bonuses and such, you are correct the bigger players usually do better. I’ve had to deal with big banks lately with moms estate and accounts and they are a royal pain in the ass.
