This is the Bark River Aurora II, the new addition to the Aurora line. This knife it the largest of the family, a nice addition to the lineup. This is my first impressions of this knife. #BarkRiver #Aurora #Aurora II
First i wanted the original Aurora (normal size) but here in germany TOTALLY sold out ..or i wait too long to buy etc. Then i see the Aurora II and i tried it out ..i have big hands and it looks ABSOLUTE Perfect ..i got one in CPN 3v Steel and ambosina Wood Handle .. (First i wanted the Desert Ironwood , like yours) Now I m REALLY REALLY Happy with my Choice ...SO Damm GREAT Knife /Steel ..and the Look ..OMG ..
Enjoyed your review. I have an Aurora LT and am thinking of trading up to this model. Looks like it might fill a lot of different roles as a camp knife, survival knife, and large bushcraft knife. Do you have any experience yet using it for batoning and light chopping?
I came here to see some review about the Aurora II. I really HOPED to see a bit of cutting usage. And? Yay! Although I have seen the Aurora betoning already, but how's about the cutting? You nailed it. Thanks for the great video!
