I love the Baron. He's creepy, funny, and honestly he makes my heart melt.

I was absolute terrified of him in first episode but he keep made it more funny at the same time.

His entrance is one of the best vampire in cinema for me. They absolutely nailed the make up and prosthetics. He looks exactly like what an ancient vampire would look like. The religious music and the exact choice of music almost whimpering in the background gives me this feeling of witnessing something truly immortal. Then the way he walks out of that old coffin with his hands grabbing the air as if he is learning to walk again then to suddenly dance like a professional seductress in seconds. Showing you how manipulative he is and why he has lived for centuries and feared by even other great vampires. His whole mannerism honestly screams of regal, royal, upper class being and you find out exactly of what the very next moment. A ruthless instinct driven monster shows up and you forget this is a vampire comedy show because he is bloody terrifying. He gives a sermon and then, the mystique ends for the laughter. I actually wish it didn't end because I was truly stunned at his performance. If I was there, my blood would get drained and I would still be in awe. I've watched his first scene maybe 50 times. Doug Jones is a master of body language. This whole scene is just 10/10.

I'm so glad they let him be on camera without creature makeup, too, just so he can get his time unveiled in the spotlight

Knowing absolutely nothing about this show, based solely on how he moved, i knew that was Doug Jones.

He goes from national domination, to the satisfaction of a quiet suburban life.

Goejlrm just chilling in the background of some shots is the best, like him reading the newspaper at 12:18. I love how he's so happy helping the Baron find a new look. Like, that's a happy boy right there (12:51, 12:54, 13:06) Also, him looking at the camera after the Baron asks "Five of what, and where are we taking them?" is just hilarious (11:43).

Thank you Cordelia, I love The “Barren”, especially since he’s been renewed to his former attractiveness. Sadly he was charred again last Thursday. Doug did some amazing wire work that night! Much love. 🫶🏻

I'm not sure why the scenes are all chopped up, cutting off in the middle of dialogue if the Baron isn't on screen. Very annoying and stupid. It renders the context of each scene incomplete. The context is what makes these scenes and the character funny and interesting, chop it up like this and it renders all these clips pointless.
