One home arcader to another -- this inspires me to keep on collecting and keep on working on my collection. Thanks so much for putting this up, dude! Absolutely outstanding room and arcade game collection.
+Retro Game Lounge Thank you. This was a 10 year process, as opposed to some who may think I threw a wad of cash at this. One game at a time, one sign or decoration at a time. Just keeping the dream alive!
***** Right on brother. Can't argue with that. I'm only sitting at 10 machines right now that I've collected over the past 3 years. So many on my list though. I'm sure you of all people can understand that :)
Back in the EARLY 80's I would always go to the MALL and play video games in "SLUGGOS" That game room had about the same number of games you have. Awesome memories of fun times in the SMOKE of that room. People smoked like a stack in that place!
Back in the day when you could smoke INSIDE shopping malls! Now a lot of them give you shit if you dare so much as do so outside it seems now! (L.O.L.!)
Wow...incredibly well done! Thanks so much for sharing. Much of my time as a teen(class of 84) was spent in arcades. Such fond memories...great basement!!!
I would probably live in this room. The ambiance alone is mind calming to me. You really really did a fantastic job here. And I love the fact that you found an old school 80's Pepsi machine.
Hey man, I want to say something here. I'm an extremely, extremely nostalgic person, and I live for 80's movies and video games, and anything that has to do with arcades. What you've done here is nothing less than a work of art, and I honestly almost started to cry when I saw how well you designed this place. I know I sound theatrical and dramatic, but it just really hits a nerve. Honestly man, you really, really did an outstanding job here. It's just so nice.
I need a best friend like you, so I can come over all the time and just sleep in that room. I'll piss in bottles, get food delivered at all times, and have random people come over to play the games. LOL
This is the reason Jeremy why we collect. For you it’s classic at arcade games. For me it is Star Trek. But the outcome is the same watching the appreciation and enjoyment of others on what we have collected
I'm finishing my basement soon and I want to do just one corner like this...complete with songs form the time..but I might just do a single MAME cabinet since I don't know how to work on old machines
Epic! It is a very rare occasion where I am wowed by anything, this is definitely one of those times. BTW, who in the BLEEP gave a dislike for this video.
Beautiful. What occupation is required to afford something like this? Oil tycoon, Rock star, Russian Mafia overlord, all of the above? Amazing man, keep up your collection.
Not what you think. I don't have the machines on all the time. I put a Kill-O-Watt meter on banks of machines and figured the electricity usage. An 8 hour game day with the full arcade on adds $5 to the electric bill.
Fantastic job. I have also created an arcade in my basement. Nowhere near as nice as this and only 1/4 the size. But there is one thing missing from your arcade and my arcade that really gives it the true feel........People. ....Its a real bummer when I go down there and no one is there but me. So I came up with a great idea. I could get a bunch of mannequins, dress them up in 80s clothes and place them at each machine. they could have wheels on their feet so if you wanted to play that game , just wheel them aside. Needless to say my wife was not thrilled with the idea and is now looking into my sanity. LOL

Wait hold up, I'm tripping now. I had no idea that that simpsons arcade cabinet is the same one that I used play back when it was in Dennis place for games, talk about the odds, lol. Thanks for giving it a great home!
If you mind me asking bud around how much did you pay for your Revolution X Machine, because one has popped up in my area and I'm looking at what I should offer for it. What's the rarity or value of these machines it's hard to find any information on them.
+Anthony Durant Mine was severely broken and needed tons of repairs. I got it mostly in trade. Expect to pay $400 - $700 which depends on condition, and whether its 2 or 3 player. its not necessarily a super rare game. I've seen plenty passed around and for sale the last few years.
+Kanjilearner Bumper pool. Its a miniature version of pool, kind of like miniature golf and pool in one. Having one with lit rubber posts is rare, although that wasn't my intent when I was looking for one, it just worked out that way. Just do a quick google search on bumper pool and it'll tell you all about it.
