@@TheCozyCornerWithAliphia no I just started two days ago. I only use cold milk and orange juice on cotton pads. I try to apply it twice a day. My dark circle are quite bad so I think it will take some time before i see some change.

@@dntgetnobetr I have very oily skin too and it all starts with a good skincare routine. Make sure to use a cleanser for oily skin, a toner and a moisturizer for oily skin that will keep the face matte. Then applying a primer should work.

Great ,what was really Cool was you did use Tons of Makeup and it Wasn't Cakey....a lot of people when trying to cover Blemishes and Imperfections,they Overdue It with the Foundation/Concealer/Press Powder/Baking etc....But your Coverage application was Minimal Simple and Basic,Straight No Chaser....Gorgeous!

I need this basic video! There aren't a lot of step by step and detailed videos on the basics of applying makeup. I'm still very new to makeup application and this was very insightful. AmbitionWrites I never try to match it perfectly. The lower half of my face like my jawline, I'll apply a darker powder to set my makeup & kinda help the contrast a LITTLE but other than that, I go no where near my neck. It's too cumbersome & messy for me anyway. I embrace my discoloration.

Please ladies don't take this as a dig...all of us need to take care of the discoloration first even on our necks and face before applying makeup. We are to beautiful naturally. Teresa White I usually swatch colors on the lower part of my face - starting about 3 inches above and below my jaw line. That way, you are able to see and make sure that the foundation matches and accommodates both your face & neck area. If you go to a professional counter, most of time there are beauty technicians who can help you color match ; however, be careful. Not everything they say is correct & they are always trying to make a sale. Personally, I feel that when it comes to women of color, they tend to choose colors that have more of a red undertone - and that is not always the case, so be mindful. Hopefully this helps 😊

Go to a make up store and ask them to help you color match that's what I had to do. They have the best tools to help you match your skin tones

You explain really well, easy to follow. And you’re not doing too much whereas a basic/beginner couldn’t learn. So many makeup videos say basic in the title but they’re doing complicated stuff that makeup artists do. Thank you for this. I’m going to get my LA Girl products now!
