Join Daniel Romanchuk, 2019 World Champion and 6-time Marathon Major Winner, and Krige Schabort, 6-time Paralympic Athlete and 2015 ESPY Male Para Athlete of the Year, for the basics on wheelchair racing equipment! This session is the second in a series designed for beginner to intermediate racers, coaches, program directors, parents who want to learn more about wheelchair racing equipment. This second session will review the racing wheelchair parts and the different tires. Future sessions will dive into the specifics of normal function, maintenance, and repair/troubleshooting of various chair parts. There will be time for audience questions and comments during each session.
