You don't always have to use complimentary colors, but more on that in the final part. Also, don't be afraid to mix your paints!

I've found if you wrap your tile/pallet/whatever, in kitchen baking foil, you can rip off the foil at the end of each project and not have to re-wash the pallet time after time. Really great series of videos, great to hear you thinking out loud as you go. Very informative! :)

Great video as always. I tend to always seem to have issues highlighting as either it goes too thick or doesn't seem to have any effect, so this is very helpful! I need to experiment more with mixing colors, I don't do it very often.

It's interesting to see how you mix your colours, your method is much more confident and accomplished than mine. I end up always fussing about the amounts of each pigment. The irony is, I'm a litho printer, and I spent many years learning how to mix colours perfectly to a set swatch for commercial printing, my mixes were used for printing. Yet when I mix very small blobs of paint for my miniatures, I get all anal and precious for some reason. I need to loosen up and feel the pigments more rather than work to an exact science. Great video.
