All cast and crew members worked on all three movies, except for music composer James Newton Howard who did not work on The Dark Knight Rises. Composer Hans Zimmer worked together with Howard on the first two films and made the soundtrack for the last movie by himself. Katie Holmes played Rachel Dawes in Batman Begins, but was replaced by Maggie Gyllenhaal in The Dark Knight. Liam Neeson appeared as Ra's al Ghul in Batman Begins and in The Dark Knight Rises. Heath Ledger received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as The Joker in The Dark Knight. Ledger died before the movie was released and the award was given posthumously.
Each of the three movies was a success in the box office; The Dark Knight was the number one grossing movie in 2008.[4] The Dark Knight Rises is the third highest grossing movie of 2012. Batman Begins is the ninth highest grossing movie in 2005. Batman Begins earned $372,710,015 worldwide. The Dark Knight earned $1,023,045,358. The Dark Knight Rises earned $1,081,041,287, passing the receipts of The Dark Knight. In both Batman Begins and in The Dark Knight, Gotham City was shot in Chicago, Illinois. In The Dark Knight Rises, Gotham City was shot in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, New York City, New York, and Los Angeles, California.

I don't see Nolan agreeing to this without Zack Snyder being brought back on board as well. Not only do they have a great relationship, but Zack also brought Nolan on board during his tenure with the DCEU.

Not true. Nolan actually hired Snyder for Man of Steel before the DCEU existed. Snyder's trilogy was Man of Steel, Batman vs. Superman, and The Justice League.

It’s true they have a good relationship but to say that nolan just wouldn’t do it if zack wasn’t there is a little weird, its not like synder was very crucial in the making of the dark knight, and now that he is effectively kicked out of dc theres really no need for him. The only reason i can see nolan not doing this is just cause he doesn’t want to do a superhero movie again

@@RedKnight7070 or just out of respect. Certain directors share a certain passion about film, in particular, preserving the integrity of it. It’s no different than certain actors who won’t do a film unless a certain director is leading it. Then there’s certain directors who have a certain go to for music scores/ost compositions they refuse to switch up on. Ntm the certain actors who would only work with a certain director(Michael Keaton/Tim Burton as it relates to Batman/Christian Bale/Christopher Nolan The Dark Knight Trilogy/Leonardo/Martin Scorsese etc). Keeping respect alive ensures the future by maintaining the integral craftsmanship of the bridge so to speak.

Let's not forget the Easter Egg at the end of Dark Knight 3 that suggests Batman may have been able to activate the Bat-Jet's autopilot when Morgan Freeman discovers Bruce Wayne enabled a software patch for the autopilot 6 months earlier. So the Bat-Jet's autopilot was functional.

With Bruce appearing dead, and Levit discovering the Batcave, it seemed like it was leading to Gordon Levit skipping becoming sidekick Robin, and going straight to taking care of Gotham, without Batman, as Nightwing in a standalone Nightwing film. I would have been very okay with this as long as the same team produced and directed it.

I'd always often wondered, why any decent critics, failed to highlight, the discovery of the recently installed autopilot mechanism. Discovered by Lucious. Maybe then, it would enlighten, the skeptics of their vague understanding of why, B. Wayne is met by Alfred, overseas. All the best, God Speed.

This would be a much needed and Triumphant return if it happens. This trilogy in my opinion was the best iteration of Batman along with the rest of the cast. Every role in these films were conducted by the right actors/actresses. It also presented the most realistic setting, although i thought Ben Aflec did a great job Christian Baile role was set apart. Probably because Noland was in charge. I also wish Cavil was back as Superman, he was born for that role. Too many people want to put their touch on things, the smartest move in this chest game would be to listen to the millions of fans. Then and only then you might check mate. Patenson did a good job, and i do like "The Batman" along with the actors/actresses in that movie. The best films are the ones made outside of WB/DC.

Flash was born of the particle accelerator/ lightning storm and when lightning struck the chemicals in his CSI/science lab along with the explosion of the particle accelerator which he was caught in So it was basically the same thing

The ending is not open ended at all. Alfred did in fact see Bruce in the cafe alive. They did inventory on Waynes estate and said the pearls were missing.... Selina is wearing the pearls. Fox also discovers the auto pilot was fixed by Bruce Wayne just before the cafe scene. Alot of people miss those small details and say its open for interpretation. No.. Bruce made it.

I think that would probably be the best concept Nolan could do IF he was willing to do it. But the guy has no further interest in making Batman films. And to his credit, its an amazing trilogy. But yeah, Batman Beyond with Nolans skills working with sci-fi and future tech would work so well.

Nolan didn’t want to make the third film so can’t see him wanting to make a 4th. He is a seasoned and in demand Director now, he wasn’t when he started the Batman trilogy so with that in mind I cannot see him making a return to the franchise. This video is pretty much a moot point!

Nolan didnt leave the 3rd film open ended so he could do a fourth. He left it open ended so that IF another director wanted to carry on, they werent left with explaining what happend in the 3rd installment. We know Bruce survived, we know Batman isnt dead. That why Nolan did it. Its not rocket science. Unlikely to see Bale play Batman again, Unlikely for Nolan to do another.

Gunn has so much he is already committed to, plus we have 2 more sequels to the Batman with Pattinson. And despite some opinions, The Batman is a GREAT batman film, and as long as they dont use the Joker from that horrible deleted scene, I think we are in for a good time.

The constant Darkness The Death of the lawyer The Note books with small lettering The looking for clues The constant Rain The way the Riddler was caught, basicall letting himself get captured, like Kevin Spacey in Se7ven Se7ven is all over that Horrible Movie....Se7ven was a masterpiece that was copied.
