omni KB is bad for him becuse of low health and 1 kb. zombies are really the only thing getting past normally and what does it do? push them into himself so that he can die faster.
I LOVE cat god the great his omni ability is why he's good in my opinion you guys just aren't using him right us him next to a base and not zombies and his knock back ability is really good to he's probably gonna get a true form anyways but I don't really know what they would change to make him not over powered tho his stats don't look great at first considering he has a slower attack rate then super galaxy cosmos but he's great and he can be used in 4 star stages
Da battle cats that’s not the point. There are stages where he can be used amazingly, like Mineral Treatment, however his ombi strike ability attacks things behind him, mainly only zombies, and that KBs the zombies into himself, killing him. And if it’s hitbox clip with brollows, then the KB will just reset brollow attack as well
@@Link9058 his omni strick ability is good because he attacks 850 away from the base (like what Lucas said in this video) and does an amazing job at keeping enemy's at the base I don't know who would even us him against zombies of course he's not good at that -850 range is kinda useless but whatever I used him on manic mohawk to test him out and 2 cat god's and 1 or 2 sniper's is enough to keep the boss back and cat god was the only unit that could do damage to the boss he destroyed the base before he killed the boss
Long-distance and Omnistrike are very interesting abilities when used on cats...but undeniably frustrating when used on enemies. I want to curse the person who made Yulala's Omnistrike. I've wasted too many rich cats on him.
6:38 There is actually a small correction to what you said, as a unit’s detection range reaches behind them as well, always exactly 320 distance units. Units can hit enemies behind them, unless they have LD and in some specific cases, omnistrike. For all cats and units that don’t have LD or Omnistrike, the detection box and attack box overlap perfectly.
Lucas: This trait is mostly possessed by enemies. Only 2 cat units own this trait. Street Fighter V:AE Collab: I'm about to end this man's whole career.
@@destroreact5706 Jizo actually has higher range then Mina when close to a base. He has 330 range while Mina's LD short range is 300. Which is the distance she will stand from the base making her vulnerable to the range of the base at 300.
I’ve got the only onmi-strike units (Subterra Guardians and Cat God the Great) and find it weird how enemies in there negative range don’t trigger their attacks...although if someone/something was behind you, would you even know it was there? Anyway noice video. Very informative
TwistySpider860 they don’t attack when something is behind they only attack when something is in front of them makes them attack and attacks behind too but it only triggers an attack if an enemy is ahead not behind
@@stupidedgykid9563 cat God is obtained by beating a chapter called passion of cat God, subterra sentinels are the evolved form of a iron legion uber, the mighty thermae D-lux (on an unrelated note, mighty thermae is my favorite Uber rare)
I find it funny that this video was probably not very relevant when it originally came out but with how the meta changed over the years this video is becoming more and more relevant
So with an enemy like Little Red, could you basically neuter the unit by just letting them walk straight to your base? If she hits her standing range at 1500 units away from your base, then would all her attacks miss the base (and all your units as well) by shooting too far? Nevermind, this was explained after the omnistrike section
Long distance: I can attack enemies farther away but can’t attack enemies near me Omni Strike: I can attack enemies in front of me and behind me, mostly just zombies cuz they can burrow underneath cats
Megaphrodite is a champ, she can get you through all of Empire of cats, and almost all of into the future. And she is a beast in most stories of legends levels. She outranges majority of the bosses.
So I have a question... Basically if an LD unit is ready to attack, and it meets an enemy and stands and prepares to attack Then suddenly the enemy is killed before it’s attack actually deals damage Will it deal damage to any enemies that stand outside it’s standing range but inside it’s LD range?
Technically this isn't even a glitch since all you do is clipping trough the hitbox with a rush unit such as A Baha, Yukimura and Maglev but it can be considered as a glitch
Why give god cat omni-strike if he does not have Zombie killer? He will just end up either killing a zombie to revive it later or knockback an enemy behind him to get the enemy directly in front of cat god causing him to die.
Lucas IV, there’s a problem though. How come old daboo is considered LD, who attacks more than its standing range, but winged pigge is omnistrike?????????????
This was a bunch of stuff I all ready knew because I pay attention to how my LD cats and cat god the great attack but I still watch the whole video because why not
@@ChocoMagic-lf9dv you do have to wonder, if mighty thermae and it's evolved form came first, did the grandon mining corps come from that concept, or did mighty thermae come from them putting all the grandon cats together?
With long distance does it attack the closest enemy or do they attack any random enemy in its range and do so any? Please explain when you say major Leaguer cat, stands inside his blind spot.
@@LucasIVYT for The single attack. Wouldn't that be stupid if they attack the closest enemy but it's not within their standing range they would have to move. Therefore, they would act like a normal ranged unit And for the area do they attack the closest point. Or do they attack everybody within their effective range?
Archer cat has 1million range and 300 million attack speed and infinite damage. Why else would people call it the best cat. Let me put this in perspective. Aphrodite a “good Uber” only have 600 range like lol noob rekt hahahahahahahahahaha
The Evangelion Collab probably won't come back to BCEN anymore but you actually can't cheese it anymore. When people started to cheese it in BCJP, Ponos added omni-strike to it.
So my question is, is subterra sentinels good? I have just enough catfood to do a guarantee on the iron legion, and am hoping for thermae, it's my favorite cat, so I want to know, is it good?
Omni strike is a very creative idea, but isn't it kinda useless? It would pretty much only be useful against zombies. Even then as you explained, the unit won't attack until an enemy in FRONT of it wanders into its range.
SilumanTomcat it may seem useful, however here are better methods, like cheesing it, and that requires units that you can get earlier in the game. Granted, if you do have him at that point, by all means, use him, however most will not beat COTC 2 until way passed mouseyland
SilumanTomcat acfually, I did it with using C fish and string up combos instead. He didn’t even need hypermaxing, and a bahamut did the rest. I did have some level 20 C brave in there too (I think) but I don’t remember the specific combos or the ratio.
Lucas IV honestly, battle cats language is the hardest language I've seen, I see those guys like "yeah, Marinmizu is better than rover because bla bla bla and waitress procs better than luffalan" And I'm here Yeah Totally that
Me Watching The Video With My Negative 1000 Brain Power: Oooh I Get It, so Like Umm,,,, LD And Omnistrike Attack From Their Higher High Range Thingy Range?
