You also need the to read the chapter on the corps game. The corps commander can only use 1 corps command dice per turn

Several division commands and corps can only be used once per game

I do also agree that Artillery and skirmishers were underutilized. I think i was just too pumped to get the infantry Battalions engaged. Have a fantastic week 👍

You can't add the 3 together you just use forwards movement, glory movement or Infantry Assault not all 3!

You have a great point there, and I appreciate the feedback. When I first started painting Napoleonics I thought 24 man square formations looked sad, so here we are. 🤪 Way too far down the rabbit hole now!

I do have a few Piano Miniatures in my Legere Brigade from my sojourn into 3D printing (where I totally got my ass kicked and decided to return everything and get my money back). They are very nice minis, but I still prefer sprue painting. That technique just pairs better with my mediocre painting ability 👍

It's a "fur" battle mat from a company that shut down during the pandemic. Killing Fields terrain. I believe War Sigil is a US company that produces similar mats (there is an Australian company too, but they don't ship out of the country). Thanks for commenting, and have a fantastic week 👍

I started both armies pretty close to one another just so I could get to fighting quickly. You might be completely right, but let's see how in the next battle, a further distance to cover effects that. Have a great week 👍

I had no issue with it at all. In some way, I almost find playing GDA2 better playing solo than against having someone over for 3 or 4 eight hour gaming sessions. I think I would feel guilty stealing someone away from their live to indulge my love of Napoleonics (it would have to be the ideal opponent). Especially with my armies (and battles) getting larger and larger. I guess I'm just weird like that 🤪

@@basement1908 I have a smaller collection that you issuing AB miniatures and I can completely see why you would choose to play solo. I think we are on the same page as I often get a little stressed with my opponent not wanting to learn the rules properly, not showing much interest after an hour, no allocating more than a couple of hours for the game etc it becomes a chore to put a game on and I feel like it’s under appreciated by a lot of wargamers. Obviously they don’t mean it but nevertheless it’s frustrating, so I have been thinking about projects in the future being solo games that I will record and share. I just need me 3 boys to grow up a little and start school so I can have some time back 😆👍
