@@bryandelcid4065 it’s not the same though because a hellcat challenger/charger awd would be much faster since it’s much lighter than a durango. The hellcat engine is in the track hawk so durango is the second suv to have it
@@Declan_Meehan I imagine it would be heavy but definitely not as a heavy as the SUV version. A shit ton of weight will be lost when turning it from SUV to coop or a sedan, that’s common sense
The Durango is brand new, the Trackhawk has been around for years. It wouldn't be right if they had regressed, they gotta make the Durango faster. That said, I'd still go Trackhawk for the better looks 😎
@@JohannGambolputty22 in the Durango they tuned the engine differently, it's got a little more horsepower and a little less torque, it's not the exact same it's a slightly different formula using the same engine.
@@Sickwitit18 Lol I drive a scat widebody daily as my personal car and build both of these SUVs at work haha so I'm fairly biased myself I guess. Or is it just experience with said platforms and I can appreciate things unbiasedly due to that haha :)
The Durango SRT 392 is mine I know I still need practice on my Launch was only my second time on the track but I finally cracked the 12s last Friday and ran a 12.8 yay aiming for 12.7 or 12.6 next Friday !! Wish me luck
@@bahtiyar5553 oh ohk. Nice. When you look at it, the difference between the hellcat and your 392 is only about a car and a half it looked like. It's not that bad. I would argue it's not worth the extra 30k. I have a jeep SRT myself.
A little caution off the line for your first race is to be expected, once the nerves have settled it was all over for the competition......that's my bro!
Its exactly the same. Just different interior, body panels and the durango is about 6 inches longer. The entire engine, chassis, drive train, and suspension are the same.
I was just teasing, not mad actually I am indifferent.......there are no losers when you get to unleash the power of those vehicles without having to worry about having it impounded. Good luck and be safe to all.
They said, "Who needs two extra seats?" I do!! With four children my wife and I want this for our family vehicle. C'mon guys, think of the kids!!...uh and me, definitely think of me..I mean the kids 🤣🤣
A rude awakening? 😂 More like he might have got him by a bumper. Look at the speeds. Durango is less than 1mph faster at the trap. Those 3 extra hp might earn it a bumper over the trackhawk
Amen thank you so much I love u and God loves u more than you could ever imagine Give your life to God not forcing you to just tryna help repent, live for him, read your Bible, and pray everyday, and live faithfully by him🙏🏾❤️‼️God bless everyone and protect your family
Hellcat Durango would have been fast had it not been for the slow reaction time. Ended the quarter at 115 and only .03 of a second slower. I'd like to see the 60 ft for the first race to compare
Considering their identical cars mechanically (engine, chassis, driveline, suspension etc) and the durango weights about 400-500lbs more I'd say the trackhawk would have it everytime.
@@Gspeed35x you have half the hp!!! That makes a huge difference. Hey you don't have to believe me, if you get a chance to drive these vehicles you will see that immediately.
