I'm in agreement, Ricky. Pedro Morales really showed that perseverance and strategy mixed with natural athleticism and strength can net you great things in the end. He won me over with his methodical style. Hope he goes really far in this competition.

Hello Mr Ricky J. Just watched your decades rumble and just want to say that these rumbles are my favorite thing to watch on RU-vid and the rules in your DC vs Marvel rumble were very fair and if you happen to do a season five team tournament rumble season I can’t wait for that one.

With all respect to Giant Haystacks, Happy Humphrey was the world's biggest wrestler. He regularly wrestled at over 800 lbs. and was listed once at 900 lbs. Haystacks Calhoun was also bigger than Giant Haystacks, but not as big as Humphrey.

I think Gorilla would be very happy at being portrayed so sveltely!

Loved seeing some old guys like Haystacks Calhoun, Giant Haystacks, Perdo Morales, Bobo Brazil, Ken Patera, Bruno Sammartino, Billy Graham and Ric Flair. Also couldn't be happier having Gorilla Monsoon as my MVP, can't wait to see him in action again.

Absolutely loved this Rumble. Loved watching Monsoon out there. That was so cool. That airplane spin was his finisher and he used it about 50 times in this match. WAs definitely cheering for Macho. My favorite wrestler by far!!!!

I have 5 notes for the Rumble and here they are: 1: Congrats to Pedro Morales on winning and clinching a spot in the Champions Rumble. 2: Gorilla Monsoon was the MVP by far. 3: Giant Haystacks isn't the heaviest wrestler of all time. These are the top 5 heaviest: A: Happy Humphrey weighed over 800 pounds for most of his career and even weighed 900 pounds at one point. B: Benny McGuire weighed about 784 at his heaviest. C: Yokozuna weighed around 750 pounds at his heaviest. D: Billy McGuire weighed close to 730 pounds. He and Benny hold the record for world's heaviest twins of all time. E: Giant Haystacks weighed close to 700 pounds at one point, which makes him the 5th heaviest wrestler of all time 4: You screwed CM Punk. It wasn't fair at all to him. 5: Maybe you could do a Rumble of wrestlers from the early 1900's to the 1950's. I have a list of 30 already that would be great. I am pleased to see Giant Haystacks in this rumble. World of Sport, the British wrestling program, featured the 6 ft 11 in, 600+ pound legend through the 1970s and 1980s. He was a fan favorite even as a monster heel. It was very unfortunate American promotions didn't take interest until the mid 1990s, when Haystacks' age and lymphoma diagnosis ended his career.

Nice Rumble brother! Giant Haystacks popped up in WCW as Loch Ness but they immediately got buyer's remorse because he could barely move around at that age/size. They fed him to Big Show/Giant a couple of times and sent him packing...

This was a fun Rumble seeing guys of the past. In my opinion the top guy of the 90's is a tie between The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin since those guys are two of the best from that era.

Ricky J! I l love these videos. I think you should do a backwards rumble. Whoever wins the episode before should come in at 1 on the next episode, whoever comes in 2nd place should come in at 2 and so on. I think that would be a cool way to give some guys a 2nd chance and to see if the champ can go all the way to 30!

I remember standing next to Haystack Calhoun when I was a kid in the SF Bay Area. He was absolutely ginourmous. That was in the late 70s / early 80s.

Hello ricky! really enjoyed this royal rumble, i was heartbroken when randy orton took out john cena, and the thing was randy didnt have much power, but still managed to pull it off. also i dont think you noticed but at 111:58 aj rko'ed randy, i found that funny! when it happened i was expecting you would say something like you always do at crazy things! but you were looking at someone else. anyway i had watched your video about how you challenged your self to try defeat a a heavy superstar with a light one, i watched this video when it came out i dont remember but i think it that you were rey mysterio and you had 3 attemps to defeat andre the giant. this inspired me to make my own video to attempt this challenge, i ened up pulling this off. In fact i challenged myself even more, i created a custom cruiserweight 30 overall superstar, and fought a 100overall superheavy weight. i dont want to spoil the video for you but ill give a a sneak peak, (lets just say that i might have accomplished it!) this gave me enough confidence to think to myself, why not make a 30man royal rumble, on legend mode and try to win with a 30 overall cruiser weight superstar! guess what, it took me a couple of attemps and i won!!!! this took me almost a week recording both of the videos, id appreciate if you can watch them, it would mean a lot to me i will post a link in the reply section with both links to the videos of the 1v1 and the royal rumnle Haider. love your videos!!!

Cool line up, I would suggest though for the 70's replacing Ken Patera with Super Star Billy Graham , Pateras heyday was more in the 80's which also where the picture is from . Another suggestion could be Don Leo Jonathan, Stan Hansen or Boba Backlund for 70's WWWF.

The only guy I know of that was bigger than Giant Haystacks was Happy Humphrey at 900 lbs! He was always at the big, though.

Might be the most dramatic rumble ever in terms of telling a consistent story. Morales was a deserved winner.

That was a hell of a Decade Rumble Ricky! Guess Macho didn't cut it for you again. Props to Gorilla for the ironman run! I thought he was going to win at the rate he was going. Pedro, the dark horse comes through when everyone didn't expect it. Two different Haystacks? I know Calhoun existed but not the Giant Haystacks. O_O;

Pencil: THIS GUY?!?! Buddy, I’ll have you know that I was the 25th entrant from the Super Heavy & Super Slim Weights rumble! Yeah… and you never eliminated any of your competition either. C.M. Pencil: YEAH, BUT- *Cuts off feed* But right now, there’s one superstar worth talking about from this rumble: Pedro Morales, the Puerto Rican sensation best known for appearances in the U.S. with the WWA and the WWWF. For those who don’t know about him, way back in the 60s he held the World Heavyweight Championship (2xs) and World Tag Team Championship (4xs, with four different wrestlers) in the WWA. Then when he joined the WWWF, he won its World Heavyweight Championship (1x) and United States Championship (1x). But it was only during his second run with the by-then WWF in the 80s where winning the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship (2xs) and Tag Team Championship (1x, with participant Bob Backlund) established him as the promotion’s fist Triple Crown Champion… then eventually retired from wrestling in 1987. Morales was a popular champion, with particular appeal to his native Puerto Ricans and the wider Latino audience, having been the first Latino to hold a world heavyweight championship, his combined WWWF Heavyweight Champion reign remains among the longest in history to this day (Even holds the cord for most days as Intercontinental Champion). Now this Hall of Fame wrestler has cemented his position in the Champions Rumble to be among the best to have make it this far this season and if the fates are kind to him this late-great competitor may make history as not only the first Puerto Rican competitor to win the Champions rumble, but the THIRD Champions Rumble winner in history… but no pressure. Now who was my MVP in this battle of the Generations? Let’s get down to the numbers: Out of thirty competitors featured in this rumble, 15 competitors secured the most eliminations (Which is practically half the whole roster in this match). The highest elimination count came down to ‘5’ total eliminations, which is four points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination. For this rumble, I’ll give the Golden MVP Award to Gorilla Monsoon, the man we mainly know as a sports commentator for the WWF but in his hay-day he was one of the greatest wrestlers of his time. Even though Monsoon didn’t win this Rumble, the fact that he lasted long for an eighth entrant and having eliminated five competitors, those feats could not be ignored when determining which star is worthy of another shot at the Champions rumble. While we’ve lost a great man like Monsoon, as well as Morales (Among many late competitors featured in this rumble), this match only goes to show that they could still hold their own if given a chance to fight today’s generation of combatants. The Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance has to go to: Bobo Brazil. Not that I mean any ill-will to this late American competitor, I acknowledge him as among the few who broke down barriers of racial segregation in professional wrestling as one of the first successful wrestlers in the African American community (Even winning some gold in several organizations). That being said, however, although he managed to secure at least ‘one’ elimination during this whole match it wasn’t enough to really prove himself in this bout. Still, the fact fans got to see Bobo Brazil in action in some form is just as satisfying enough more than just seeing him win the big one. Perhaps this won’t be the last opportunity he’ll receive to get into a champions rumble in the near future. But for the time being, as a performer, this just wasn’t his best match in my opinion. One superstar of his generation managed to overcome great odds to secure a place as a champion amongst champions. But as we are nearly half-way from assembling a full champions roster in this bout, one question still remains… who’s next? Have a good day, J. Sports fanatics. C.M. I'm not a true wrestling fan.. only EFED, but if you look at Pedro Morales, he takes a powder under the ropes, looks to make sure he's safe, holds onto the rope to catch his breath, then Roman comes over and says, "Break's Over", pulls Pedro back in the middle of the ring, later, Morales, picks up Roman, tosses him out, and makes it to #2.. he picks up Haystacks after a pretty good battle and wins the Rumble. Wow!! Take a breather, and ya might have a chance!!

How bout a rumble involving geniuses fron tv and real life. Like Albert Einstein, Newton, tesla, the guys from big bang theory, days from star trek tng, Donatello from tmnt, joker, Mr freeze, the mad hatter, Dr. Doom. You get the idea. A bunch of brainiacs good and bad.

The only thing that would have topped CM Pencil is either having The Pebble or bringing in The Macho Boxer Dandy Savage.

Aren't Haystacks Calhoun and Giant Haystacks just different names for the same guy? Minor quibble. Great concept for a rumble and what a finish! I laughed pretty hard when CM Pencil turned up, LOL.
